That's almost as hard a job as professional auctioneer. I once knew a guy who could do that, went to school for it. I've only tried square dancing once but it was a lot of fun and a good caller makes a world of difference from what I've seen. It really would make a good profession for...that guy. I don't mind a certain amount of repeat footage. The 50's Superman used the same clips of him running into the alley to change, taking off to fly, that sort of thing. But this show overdid it like nobody's business.

My family says I do give great shoulder rubs, they call on me a lot. I'd have no problem with you doing the same thing. Well done with the eye drops, I know it's awkward under the best of circumstances, but you figured it out and are getting it done, as usual. We're getting everything prepared for our trip to Belize next week. Guess what else: we're looking into a program they have to help people retire there! We've looked at it before but not that seriously. Now we're wondering, and getting to check the place out in person will help us a lot in deciding whether to get serious about it. but mainly, we're just going to have fun. Not only the diving, but we will probably go see the Mayan ruins and stuff like that, too. There's a lot to do in such a small country. Plus, they just changed the law. Until now, if you did retire there under the program, you weren't allowed to work and earn extra money, or have a business, or anything like that. They dropped that requirement so it should mean I could do my RU-vid and music and Kathy could pick up nursing jobs as desired. We'll find out next week if the reality matches the advertising. When we started doing these trips, we did a process with Homeland Security so we can go to an "express lane" at the airport. They call it pre-approval, and if you have a clean criminal record and all that they'll assume you're okay, and you get a special note on your ticket that says you can do that instead of waiting in line for an hour. We really like it. It has saved us so many headaches already it's silly. Everything is set at home: I know who will be caring for Hazel, Namio will come over to look after the dogs and Zelda, our cat that lives in Kathy's studio, so that's covered. I think we're set, we just need Tuesday morning to get here! I also learned that I can buy CBD oil over the counter in Belize so I don't have to try and take something with me for my pain issues. I can get it there. Actual cannabis is technically illegal but apparently you can buy it on any street corner and the law isn't rigidly enforced. Possession under certain amounts was decriminalized in 2017 and I don't intend to have any of that stuff anyway. As long as the pain is dealt with, I'm cool. In the meantime, I've spent most of this week concentrating on music. Although, yesterday was a bit of a throw-away day, it was one of those days where I couldn't wrap my head around anything, so I spent most of the day playing Halo 2. Those happen sometimes. I don't worry about it. The next 2 weeks' videos are all set up so they'll post automatically while I'm away, and I'll have my laptop with me so we can still talk. It wounds like your body is slowly figuring out who it is again. I know it's frustrating, but bear in mind that you're playing the long game: it takes a while to get there, but the end result is worth it. Keep looking ahead toward the prize.

Good morning! I hope you had another good night. I tweaked something in my back in that fall and it's got me walking a little like Frankenstein's Igor, but it'll pass and Ibuprofen handles it. So I'm not concerned. I'm still figuring out the quirks of my new sound board. In particular, somehow when I'm watching a RU-vid video, that board pumps up the background music and pumps down the dialog so it often gets hard to hear what is being said. I need to figure out why it's doing that and how to tell it not to. It has quite a learning curve but it's worth it. I was a little concerned when I found out that cannabis isn't legal in Belize, but then I learned that they do sell CBD oil over the counter at the pharmacies. So I'll be fine as far as the pain stuff goes. And there's always the diving! It's the biggest living coral reef on the planet. The Great Barrier Reef is bigger but it doesn't really qualify as living any more, thanks to humans. I would like to see it before it disappears completely, but that may or may not be in the cards. I'm excited for this year's concert season, too. All our favorites are coming back except Styx, plus we're going to see Def Leppard and Journey. I've wanted to see Journey for a long time. I finally said, I don't care what the tickets cost, I want to see them. Several years ago I said the same thing when Santana came to town and I'm still glad I did. Did I ever tell you how I got my Santana t-shirt after the concert? As we were walking out, there were guys standing on the walkway trying to sell the last of their stock. We came out the gate and a guy was waving them and yelling "forty dollars!" I said, nope. We walked about another 100 yards and there was a guy waving shirts and yelling "Thirty dollars!" I said, nope. We kept going and a ways down the walk was a guy saying "twenty dollars!" Still too much. Further on a guy was yelling "Ten dollars!" I said, "sold". That's how I got my concert shirt for ten bucks! It's a size too small but I didn't care, I was just out for the commemorative part anyway. I now have concert shirts from Santana, Eric Clapton, Styx, REO Speedwagon, and Chicago. I'd like to collect more but I hate paying concert prices for them. Who's your favorite band?
