IRyS improved her score bit by bit, leaving a lot of room for improvement at the start, just to break Bae slowly. That's my oshi, the embodiment of DESPAIR.

I feel this is a big part of the reason BaeRyS is so much fun. They always tease and mess with each other a bit, but there aren't any sour feelings between them that last for long, if at all.
Irys is not known for being THE gamer of En, but seeing her performance in casual PvP games like MK and Splatoon, I believe she’s up there or even the best in some games.
@@chaoton I dunno about that, IRyS is horrible in a lot of the games like bottom of EN level power level. Which is totally fine but lets not twist things around. Bae is the same but really been improving lately esp with her hard game choices. I suspect Bijou has a lot to do with it as she's being more persistent with Bijou's encouragement.
@@GlideAndSlide123 I mean, each gen has ~2-3 gamers (those with a tinge of being competitive and game literate) and Irys being one of those already secured her to be ~top 50% of her branch. The non-gamer ENs would struggle with basic control and gaming cue while the gamers would grasp the basic in no time, then the rest are up to the interest and time spent.
The best part about this whole thing was Bae's self-inflicted damage. If she hadn't flexed in the way that she did, I don't think Irys would have been so on top of crushing Bae's records lol.
She was literally mind broken for a good three hours and all I can say is, it was an incredibly entertaining watch. Especially the ending of the stream xD.
Ever since I stumbled upon that drunk stream of Bae and Irys and watched Irys flex on Bae, I have never missed a second of their banter and rivalry ever since.

Little did BaeRyS know, somebody else was also involved in their little time trial war... and this lesser-known challenger defeated Bae by 0:00.022 with a time of 1:42.571. (Had to edit because that was supposed to be a decimal, not a colon, in between 42 and 571.) This was entertaining to watch in real time, entertaining to watch as a retrospective, and I must thank BaeRyS for motivating me to knock off 4+ seconds from my previous Sunset Wilds time. ❤

Thanks for the very well-edited highlights summary of this Sunset Wilds saga! With the frequency and speed of game resets, it honestly looked more like a Souls game instead of MarioKart. And IRyS' ghost was the boss to beat lmao.
