@@shahramtondkarmobarakie1824 pretty much everything is the same but teammates dont show up on the map(there are other ways to tell whos who), you can team kill, and the matches are actually balanced(every nation against russia [we still loose])
I only played my IS-3 in downtiers. That way it works quite well (still see some HEAT but the most common enemies are Tiger IIs and they are so clueless lmao)
Basically the same playstyle as with the IS-2, slow to reload gun, but "better" armor. It helps against standard shells, but chemical rounds go straight through.
@@markshark6909 The difference with the IS-2 is that this tank face maaaaany vehicles with HEAT-FS, and its a slower than the IS-2, but still fun to use when its a downtier.
As a Soviet heavy tank enjoyer i approve of this video and i recommended for the T26E5/T32 you shoot the machine gun port or the roof and yes part 2 please
Its sad how the era of heavy tanks seem to be over. All those heat slinging light tanks... I remember the times when I fricking duelled a Maus with an IS-4M for 3 minutes straight, and two enemys and three of my teammates (lights and mediums) just sat down and watched. Truly the golden era of WT...
~200 mm of pen, top speed of a snail, and 27 sec base reload time, playing against cold war era heat, atgms and apds at 7.3 (uptier to 8.3)... totaly balanced...
And yet, like, half the kills of it in this video are absolutely bullying American heavies through their mantlet where they're supposed to be strongest... Curious, no?
i was in a game with you last night! i didn't notice till after on the after action report when i was looking at the names of the guys on my team and seen yours lol.
Got my first nuke in this thing and in a full uptier no less! It actually is the first soviet tank at highier ranks that gets good armor again. When downtiered you can have an experience similar to the KV1. On a full uptier its best to take it out as a second or third respawn since most people will have already used up their heavy hitters. The reload and lack of gun depression and stabilizer can make this a really frustrating experience from time to time but it has a very good reverse speed so it suits a peak-a-boo type of gameplay.
Malzi you need to set up a key to switch between MGs and normal guns that way you don't have to turn your turret when shooting planes with your roof gun.
Wanna know the funnest skill issue of this whole ordeal? When you play as Russian tanks and get shot in the ammo it's insta death BUT when you go up against Russian tanks and shoot them in the ammo nothing happens
ngl but You'd expect the 3 and 4M to basically have the same Volumetric bs as the 2 and German Panthers, but no the 3 is just cursed and the 4 is just a bit more challenging to play right. (oh and it's even more fun)
1:20 We really get to see how Gaijin treats USA in action. 120mm AP shell pens an IS-3, kills ONE crew member, no other damage. Meanwhile the T34 has a higher repair than the IS-3
IS tanks are such a pain in the ass to play these days, obnoxious repair costs, constant utpiers, bad armor, poor gun handling, i honestly don't understand how people can think they are broken
Just aim for the turret, what you should be doing to any Soviet tank since the earliest T-34s and will continue doing until the modern tanks. But hey, if you grinded any faction playing against Soviet tanks since BR 3.3 and did not learn to shoot the turret you have a massive skill issue
@@grudgebearer1404 do you expect someone to shoot at the small turret mantlet when the tank they are using is unstabilized and the penetration is often mediocre while the Soviet tank is looking directly at them?
I remember the IS3 was so bad i switched back to t34/85 on 7.0 br as back up cause: Mobility sucks reload time is insane and even if the armor is impressive on paper most of the opponents are tanks from the future with chemical rounds which oneshot you, no matter what. Worst heavy tank experience 😄
0:02 Kinda why i never play with 7.3 heavies. Your armor is almost useless and sure you might bounce couple of shots here and there or survive a bombing but it's not really reliable. That's why i mainly play the BMP-1 no armor best armor.
