I wear a 36mm Tudor BB - I have a smaller wrist, and the size suits me perfectly. I also have an old 34mm Seiko, which also fits well - I’ve personally never thought it too small - it’s only fashion that has dictated 39 - 44mm cases.

36mm is absolutely the best size for a watch IMO. It literally looks good on everyone. This is a really cool little watch. Pretty good price too. I wish it was a little thinner though.

If it were only that simple. Lug to lug, thickness all play a part in what is appropriate for a watch aesthetic. 36mm in a thick watch is a very odd specification. Some 40mm watches wear quite well if the lug to lug and thickness are proportional.

Rolex DATE just first came in size 36. It was only later when they added bigger size.

Love this video. I normally prefer 40mm watches, but 36mm watches are just as good and legible, in my opinion. I even use my late grandfather's 34mm Air King, and have no issues whatsoever.
