IS-6 was my third Prem, after the KV-5 & Type59. I do love the IS-6, but haven't played it in a while, as I feel that's its been left behind with power creep. Great games Skill.

This tank is pretty fine ... until you meet defender and it snapshots your cupolas twice in the first minute of the game.. and then penetrates you with standard ammunition right in the gun mantlet.. and you've been hulldown the whole time.

It's not the best T8 heavy but its my favorite to play! Plus preferential matchmaking and the great armor don't hurt!

Do you get preferential matchmaking if you queue with a friend in a platoon? For example, do we get pref MM if he also has pref MM tank only or we have pref MM whatever he picks because I have IS-6?

@@ComradeAndrej Only if the friend queues in a preferential matchmaking tank as well, IS 6, T-34-3, Super Pershing etc.

Wot is pay to increase your win rate. Sure skill is also a huge part but so is credits, gold spam, modules, consumables, faster research on stock grinds, op premiums, map excluding. It all increases your win rate

I dunno - while the best player can perform well even with a poor tank, a poor player has no additional guarantees of a win even in the best tank. MM is one of the defining variables when it comes to w/r, and no amount of gold ammo or bounty equipment can get a bad player to carry a bad team.

@@ballistyxwot4577 you are talking about one battle , he was talking about long run.. Like if you have enough free exp to get top modules on a tank after buying one you don't have to play 20 battles stock or semi stock. It is likely you will perform better than stock and possibly help team carry the game.

Awesome tank I played it few months ago and my avg dmg was 2k, got 2moe and lot of credits, it's much better than other HT for bonds

Globally a good tank except when you face tier 9 heavies, they spam gold ammo and you counter them with your own gold shells with low penetration points. Don't even try with standard shell, you will penetrate their armor almost never.

For bonds? You should try STG, it is Kelvis's favorite tank, better than T-34-3 😈. Now seriously, i would not buy is6 or kv5. I don't have t-34-3, but i would buy it if i would not have already premium tanks. I like tanks with big guns, and i think a medium with preferential mm works better than a heavy with preferential mm.

T-34-3 more flexible and better pen than is6 and years better than kv5 (Unless you are looking meme with your friends ofc) t34-3 is the way to go

IS-6 is outdated. Anything with over 200mm of pen will go through the tank with ease and the armor was what made it great in the past. KV-5 is for the memes! Big target with a lot of weakpoints and poor gun. Oh, and outdated too! T-34-3 relies on the mobility and its big boom stick. But, funnily enough, its turret is better armored than IS-6's and the hull is almost the same with better dispersion. So... slow with unreliable armor or faster with the same type of armor and gun? Go for T-34-3!

this, even tho, if you put 2 players with same skill against each other, one has gold ammo and one has standard.. its obvious the gold ammo guy will win because he has advantage.. so it is p2w

Your close combat skills are lacking. With Russians tanks, you can hug tanks and they will bounce your turret. With fast tanks, you can circle tanks. I played since beta and thats what I noticed about your play style.
