Is 60hz Playable in Radiant? 

The difference is that you get stable 60 fps all the time.. Mine starts at 60 and drops to 20 when World War 3 commences

Started with 25 - 30 fps and recently switched to 300 fps, phenomenal diff

Reducing your FPS but not the refresh rate of your monitor doesn't increase the input lag as it should be on 60Hz The monitor makes the difference too on the input lag, at same refresh/fps

If you are playing around 50-70 fps , in gunfights your frames will drop to 30 or even 20fps ,

60 fps locked in 240hz and 60hz is diffrent. 60fps in 240hz is still better visually compared to 60hz so setting ur limit fps to 60 isnt really 60hz

60fps - ur stuck Gold 3 144fps - ur stuck Diamond 3

Currently, Peak Ascendant 2 with ~100$ PC (1220 v2 + 750 ti) and an overclocked 75 Hz monitor. Upgrading to at least i3 gen10 could push me to immortal. For low-end PCs, peeking and tapping feel delayed and less snappy, so it's hard to spray control. If you want to reach immortal+, go with a minimum i3 Gen10 and 144 Hz monitor.

FPS and Hertz in A monitor a very different, if you wanna feel the 60 hertz game play go to display settings on window and lower the refresh rate to 60 hertz, having more than 60 frames helps but only then you can experience the true 60hertz

the game works differently when you put the frame cap to when you limit the refresh rate, if u have the game running at high fps but 60hz refresh rate, it performs better than if you play with frame cap at 60fps. Try it yourself

the scariest fact is that u played in 60fps which were still,the worst part about bad pcs is fps fluctuations….

immedietley when i bought a 144hz monitor from 60 i became wayyyyyyy better at this game, from being the kj that holds sites to an agrresive reyna. if ill play on 60 now my aim will still be much better then it was before i ever saw 144 but thats because the hz helped me build better muscle memory and i tihnk thats exactly whats being showen in the vid.

As someone who went from trash specs to good, being hardstuck gold/low plat, to high plat with hidden mmr as diamond after upgrade even though I got worse is proof that fps can hold you back and, 60 probably not, but if it drops under, definitely will

if 60 hz grind to radiant or to diamond its more difficult but if u already in that rank it seem like non but there is a lilttle of affect

i hit asc 2 on 60hz , peaked immo 2 currently on 240hz it REALLY helps, 60hz feels like slow motion now

There's a difference between stable 60fps and 60fps peak fps. Some if not most hardstuck (iron, bronze, silver and gold) have hardware issues and don't technically have the best computers.

you were not going tp 60hz but 60fps the hertz remained the same you can go to your nvidia control panel and head to the resolution settings and manually change the refresh rate to 60

you are getting stable 60fps ... but we get so many fluctuations.... even at 100 fps ... the difference in fluctuations make character laggy .... when fps fluctuates ,,the screen lags and we miss the enemy in frames ...

With 75hz I got ascendant but honestly there is a moment when it is almost impossible, you have to play off angles and avoid direct fights, makes you find a better positioning in the map but getting a 1v1 or a peek is f*cking imposible sometimes

There is a big difference between 60hz and other refresh rates, 144-240hz are almost the same it wont change how you play honestly, but 360hz is just another whole level its so smooth if you constantly have +300fps. Ive used all the monitors and not lowered my fps.

That is not all we face , i have a 15-16 year old LCD samsung monitor , it has deadpixels in bottom right of the screen, a 5ms response time 60hz refresh rate . I overclocked the monitor to 75Hz and play valo . Theres also frame drops my fps will go from 74(fixed) to , at the lowest , 35-36, in an instant , there's input lag too , ping diffs , mouse and keyboard response times to take into consideration as well. So much shit happening and then recently i somehow dont get the Nvidia reflex low latency option which i had set to On+boost . Apart from that theres weird shit happening with latency , i shoot shots and see that i hit a clear shot in a clearly open area which will later show as wallbangs and theres also times i hit 5-6 bullets to the enemy and it registers 3-4 . Dunno what the fuck is happening fr.

well i went from hardstuck gold to a2 instantly when i bought a proper setup which was not 20-80 Fps all the time now i only need to get a ethernet connection

It is not the thing you are playing 60fps it is the thing you are getting 60fps constantly.

sadly a pc that can run the game on 200 fps is different that a pc that has a max of 60 to 75 fps even if u cap the 200 fps one to 60

only changing the fps doesnt change the latency from the monitor like most or all or almost all monitors that are 59hz/60hz have 8ms and yeah it has a lot difference from 8ms to 1ms

I'll tell you though. I've done this before with my XL2546K, it's a complete other story to play 60hz with just the visual lag like this, and a whole other story to play on a pc that actually gives you 60hz and like 100fps... That's already basically unplayable for me.

ofc you'll perform better than 60 hz gamers who have never touched 144 or higher you performed better than them because you have adapted 240 hz and you know how much to move exactly to reach the target. i've also shifted from 60 to 144 and i can't even tell you how BIG that difference is. 144 to 240 might not be that big but 60 to 144 or higher is fkin heaven and hell. after 1.2 months getting 144 hz, i went from gold 2 to ascendant 1 edit: it takes some time to adapt to 144, because if you're switching to a high refresh rate, it'll be too smooth to handle, weirding you out. its same as switching from a pencil to ball point pen

60 fps is good but playing on 60 fps when it will drop to like 20-30 fps in intense fight is hard
