Get used to the story expanding and expanding. I love it but you can call it unfocused at times but thats mainly because the story is unfinished.

I’m hoping the Winds of Winter (if that ever does truly see the light of day) can help tidy up some of these storylines, because yeah, although I love the expansion, the story can’t continue to grow forever.
