When you flash the ecu with it you’re supposed to turn the car power to fully off for 15 seconds before starting. Can’t just leave it in accessory power. Also you can use the access port to get a custom dyno tune instead of just off the shelf maps. It’s a great device

Cobb AP with an intake/ exhaust is fucking fantastic. Even OTS maps are decent up to stage 2+. You should probably research it before you start filming lololol Glad y'all are back though. Get it!!

My 15 R Stage 1.5/ 2 Unitronic both are kick ass!. Almost 400hp. Blew my ankle out no more clutch for me. I loved the crackles & it was a bitch to install the APR down pipe. Load AF but was well worth it.
Was gonna sell ya a 5.3 LS that I have, had a change of plans for my project, been trying to get a hold of you to see if you wanted it. A turbo Datsun still sounds dope af tho, best of luck my guy

the cobb tunes built into the accessport really arent the best for the engine, i have an accessport for Focus ST, and with a custom tune she runs a lot better than it did with the cobb map , the cobb stage 0 map is pretty much the stock tune but lets you monitor with the gauges and datalog, it does give you the fuel cut launch control. with stage 1 it gives you a bit more power but you're better off with a custom or dyno tune. also i flash tunes without a charger all the time, probably not the best idea, but its what i do lol
Kaben Hanson nah my Cobb stage 1+ was faster by .6 seconds on the 1/4 than when I was running maperformance stage 1+ 13.1 on maperformance 12.6 on Cobb lmao. Now I’m 12.2 on street tires with custom tuning by EQT fbo stage 2 full E85
Apr unitronic and IE tunes are better. With a mk7 gti a stage 1 tune from apr gets you to 292 hp. Which is 600 dollars. Id rather just get that then having to pay 600 for the cobb accessport then pay to get it tuned for a pro tune
600 for the accessport that can flash many different companies tunes that you can get cheap for example egt sells staged tuned starting at 175 200 plus you can easily flash to stock without having to pay for a tune and monitor live data and custom tuning
