“I started to plan my life and accidentally joined a cult” I have moved to an A6 and a B6. Smaller is so much fun and chunking it up is amazing.

OMG, it's true! The initiation process is: how much stash do you have, and how many times have you switched covers/sizes/systems 😆

Hi Chloe. Love this video! I struggle with planner sizes, too. I feel that I struggle to get into A5, though. There feels too much space. I've tried bound books (Leuchturmm and Mokeskine dated planners as well as more off the shelf brands such as Letts and Collins), rings, bullet journals etc, but I don't get the feeling that I'm comfortable in A5. I've downsized to a Hobonichi Weeks, but I dislike the Tomoe River paper and I now find myself in a teeny A7 Collins planner which is way, way too small and there aren't enough notes pages. I'm just hitting a wall and can't find the planner that works for me. I'm looking at pocket rings because I do prefer something smaller. I love the idea of a bound book, but the freedom to have different sections that I can move around behind dividers is probably what would work best for me. Help! 😮

I flirted once, briefly, with a pocket size and just couldn't make it work. As I mentioned in a previous comment, note-taking in my planner is really important to me, and even Personal size pages are cramped for writing out my thoughts when I need to noodle my way through an idea. A5 rules supreme. I also have to say I have never maintained more than one diary/schedule type at any one time. At the moment I have a day to page style in my Personal binder. Usually at A5 size I will either go for week to view or week on 1 page plus notes. However, I also wanted to say that if you are considering getting a larger bag to accommodate the Pocket Filofax Norfolk, you might like to take a look at Roka. I bought one of their cross-body bags - the Carnaby Crossbody XL - and it fits the Personal size Filofax perfectly plus room for my reading glasses, lip salve, purse etc, all without being impossibly large or bulky. Also comes in lots of fun colours.

I'm using a personal rings planner as my wallet, and A5 strings with inserts as my at home information that I don't want out and about. My personal is housing my yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily.

I have a personal & a pocket planner. I noticed I use my pocket more because of its portability and it not stuffed the the brim with unnecessary stuff like trackers I’m not keeping up with. And it acts as a wallet as well.

I was in a pocket size last year. This year I tried a Hobonichi A6 then the weeks. I realised that I need an A5 rings with a pocket size to carry with me. I always seem to go back to that combination. I have been using Filofaxes of various sizes since the 80s.

I'm going down to pocket as we speek. I have a Filofax Norfolk in personal size for household stuff and monthly layout I share with my hubby but I have pocket size Ajasto with tiny rings for my personal schedule and plans. It's so light weight and just lovely to use.

I am currently using the Moterm Versa in Pocket Size because Personal and larger are too big, and blank spaces on a page annoy me lol. But I have a Malden Special Edition Personal Organizer Charcoal coming because I don't learn and want to try something bigger than a pocket-size planner.

I find that I do tend to flip-flop A5/personal/pocket. A5 is my happy place, but sometimes I need something more portable, it just depends on what's happening in my life. And that's why I love rings paper planners because it so easy to switch things out, try a different size, and experiment - I try and do it as thoughtfully as possible, but there are too many gorgeous things, like that special edition Malden, it has gold rings 🤤

I have a Filofax Domino in pocket. I would love to move to pocket for portability but every time I go to it, its too small and I don't have enough of a life outside the house to use it properly.... Or is it i just don't like the cover I've chosen - maybe a different cover would make me use it? 🤔😂
