I could not resist and I had to subscribe to Cycling News to read about their road bikes wind tunnel test. They had 11 modern superbikes going through the wind tunnel with a realistic protocol to simulate fast road riding conditions.

The results are quite interesting and even if they show an improvement over the base line bike, a Trek Emonda with exposed cables and aluminium wheels, it seems difficult to find an overall winner...
