Not only are all the DLC’s overpriced, they’re locking active main roster wrestlers behind a paywall. They should’ve all been there at launch, especially with the game lacking so much content. Some of the worst nickel and diming I’ve seen a video game do. Also putting old game modes like towers/tournament behind paywalls is also insane.
I feel a good portion will tbh, ppl say they're hesitant on buying such and such and still go ahead and do it anyway, the biggest example of this rn is the 2k series, so many ppl said they weren't gonna buy 22 till reviews...then 22 became one of the most brought day 1 wrestling games in like 10 years, then the whole myfaction stuff and ppl saying we need to boycott it and not buy 2k24 then ppl still brought 2k24. Basically wrestling fans are gonna buy regardless how the previous game were
if you look at Samoa Joe's info it doesn't even say he was Aew champ. that is how outdated he is. he was champ from december 30th to april 21st. go look back season 2 was still coming out while joe was champ.
the guy from THQ Nordic, Zyddie or whatever he calls himself, said that after season 3 they would start working on fixing the game and adding stuff the community asked for like new match types. he lied. there was no new stuff added and now with this season 4 pass they are calling the game the ultimate edition. what does ultimate mean. the final edition. this game is cooked. they lied to us.
He actually said that after season 2. He stated both season were already done during development.. then season 3 dropped and it was damn near the same as 2. I called it being damage control but they 7 FF fanboys didn’t believe me lol
MAN that's crazy 7.9 on PC HELL with the mods an all that's crazy at least with playing newer modes like Cage or even Hell in the Cell an wrestlers . I brought The Elite Edition an all the passes New Arenas Season Passes. I like the gameplay for the most part but man Edge no theme WTH he's got the theme on AEW programming makes no sense.

How is barebones and it offers nothing in comparison to 2k.. fast forward today he’s saying FF is filled with content so what are we complaining about 😂😂 literally contradicted himself
Game is dead. If rhey actually out some effort into imoriving their game first, then started with DLC later, they would have probably been okay. But with the base game being as lacking as it is, i just cant justify spending so much on DLC characters.
ALL empty wasteland: Trash forever. overprice DLC packs, too many season passes and they're all overpriced, bare bones creation suite, limited match features, this game opening intro literally copies off of TNA '08 game by midway Line for line, the in game cash shop was better in backyard wrestling 2 : there goes the neighborhood, the whole marketing played off of nostalgia and very extremely misleading marketing tactics, the gameplay is straight Ass, the character models to the wrestlers likenesses are inaccurate: they did alot of them dirty. there's ZERO redeeming qualities to this game. i also love how Nordic is still deceptive while playing with a dead companies name, just to be relevant. it must be nice to just buy a dead brand from a defunct American publisher that died from bankruptcy in 2013 by rename urself using their brand, just to gain some kind of notoriety. and even with all that, from buying thq inc's ips and their name that was up in auction this Austrian publisher is wearing a dead company's name that's been 6 feet under for over a decade. they found a way to still running the "THQ" brand into the ground as if it wasn't already six feet under already and that was defunct 4 years prior of nordic buying their name and ips. while yukes is overrated and has been on a decline even while under 2k. this game is the perfect embodiment of the current AEW product on TV: half empty arenas, declining viewership, and plays on the nostalgia and hype for ratings, while biting off of other companies at the same time. zero originality !
I payed full price for a below average mid tier game with hardly any match types and stupid a.i and terrible Create a wrestler What else is there to say? 4/10
