Strell bro, i think you missed something about slip on exhausts. What you said about the full system exhaust is exactly right. But when it comes about the slip ons, we are not replacing the bend pipe and the collector. When the bend pipe and the collecter is not replaced, we dont have to do a custom ecu map. Because the back pressure is not changed in a higher value. The slip on exhausts are used for a better sound. Its not about perfomance. But still, if we check it on a dyno the single cylinder engine may show up a power boost of 1 or 2 bhp at the exact rpms where the peak power is produced or may be at a little low rpm. Afterall we can say the slip ons without ecu remap wont do MUCH harm to the engine. And thanks for the great video❤
Bro i use a slipon on my himalayan, many of them said as what u mentioned no tuning is required for slipon's. I feel a bit more backfire on my bike, is that coz of more fuel or is it normal for a slipon exhaust

You can also improve power just by ECU upgrade and also if you don't do it currently it will decrease power and engine warning will always on and bike will make a really weird notice (This is my experience)
A more free flowing exhaust system will encuourage those gasses to move along the pipe, lowering the back pressure so next time the exhaust valve opens, there is less to block the exhaust gasses leaving the cylinder. ideally a vacuum at the exhaust valve would suck all the gasses out . Over Reduction in back pressure from the exhaust means more air get sucked out from cylinder ,so during the next cycle more air gets in the combustion chamber and therefore leaner running.

In fi engine, changing to free flow exhaust will cause linear air since fuel sprayed is based on time . In Carburetor engine changing to free flow exhaust cause more air fuel mixture into engine thereby slightly increasing power and less mileage.

Bro, air fuel mixture lean aakkiyal engine over heat aakum... Otherwise lean mixture gives better mileage in any conditions because of the full amount of fuel will burn completely with more than enough oxygen and there is very less amount of carbon deposits. That's why we use a correct air fuel mixture.So if we change the air filter and exhaust without the ECU remapping, it will actually increase the mileage a little without any power increase. But it will significantly overheats the engine. So if you are gonna change the air filter and exhaust also do ECU remapping or in the case of carburettor bikes tune the carburettor according to the air flow. Anyway it's a very good video bro... More info For Carbonated bike owners ------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Lean Mixture May not affect Mileage in Fuel Injected bikes but will be affected in carburetted bikes. Because the Fuel+Air Mixture is sucked into the engine with the help of vacuum created during the intake stroke, Fuel injected bikes are programmed in the ECU to have a tolerance in the flow of Fuel. and thus will not vary the mileage greatly. But because carburetor bikes does not have a limiting factor the fuel is sucked as much as needed until the Jets are fully bottlenecked. 2. A cheap aftermarket Air filter such as 'HP Air Filters' can cause damage to the Carburetor, Mainly to the Piston(in carburetor) and sometimes even the Diaphragm. Brands like K&N and BMC have oil coating on it to prevent entering of dust and the oil need to be replaced frequently . 3. The processor of richening the mixture is easier and cheaper on carburetor. installing larger jets in carburetor can resolve this.

I saw a video abt r15 v3. In which before changing the exhaust to Daytona his top speed was above 155...but after installation of Daytona exhaust it got reduced to 150..is it because he didn't do ecu remap?

I have changed my exhaust in my R15 v3 and opted for full system Akra first copy and I have used it for 2 years and over 26000 kms and also using K&N airfilter but not changed the ecu ....but I don't feel any damage to engine ...but you have mentioned long term ...please can you suggest how much kms are you relating to long term . And one more thing should I go back to stock setup???
