Yes, an air fryer can be healthy, especially regarding acrylamide levels. Acrylamide is a chemical that forms in some foods during high-temperature cooking, like frying. It's linked to health risks. The good news? Air fryers use less oil and lower temperatures. This reduces acrylamide formation compared to deep frying. But here's a tip: Don't overcook your food in the air fryer. Overcooking increases acrylamide. So, keep an eye on cooking times. Also, pre-soaking potatoes in water for 30 minutes before air frying lowers acrylamide levels, right? Remember, variety in your diet is key. Air fryers are great for cutting down on oil, but balance is essential. Another thing: Air fryers don't just reduce acrylamide. They also help lower overall calorie intake. Using less oil means fewer calories. That's a win for healthy eating! Of course, what you cook matters too. Stick to fresh, whole foods. Avoid heavily processed items. This boosts the health benefits of using an air fryer. In short, an air fryer can be a healthier choice. Less oil, lower acrylamide, fewer calories. Just use it wisely. Keep those cooking times in check and soak those spuds. Happy, healthy cooking!

As a pharmacist I don't agree with her because acrylamide is formed only as a result of chemical reaction when we cook food (specially deep fry starchy food) at a very high temperature. As far as air fryer is concerned, according to recent research it actually reduces acrylamide production by 90-95%. The best way to avoid any carcinogen is to steam or boil your food because while you do so temperature doesn't exceed too much. (i.e not more than 120°).
She is telling in a passing reference that heating beyond 200° and more than 15 minutes is harmful while most air fryers heat upto 200° max. As per chatgpt, acrylamide variation depends on type of food, temperature, duration etc. Giving general statement that air frying is harmful is a misleading statement.
Bhai saheb jab koi muft mei Kheemti mashware dein na toh log hazam nahi kar pate hei. She is the BEST DOCTOR i hv ever come across. May Allah bless WISHES FROM A DOCTOR TO ANOTHER FROM INDIA
You could talk about steamed food to replace with air fried or deep fried as an option. I've been steaming fish chicken its more juicy non toxic and with better tenderness 👍
I was minutes away from buying an Air friyer just now and was looking for recipes when I stumbled upon your video. I m not buying it EVER. A big thanks.
It depends how you use air fryer.you can avoid acrylamide you cook for a longer time at high heat then there is high acrylamide however, if you cook on low setting and do not let it get too brown , it is still better then deep frying and bar-b-q.
G ap thek keh rhy hain. 180 degrees sy below py cook kren to acrylamide produce nhi hota. Sirf 180 degrees sy abpve temp py khany main mojoud starch or sugars apas main react kr k acrylamide bnaty hain. So i prefer cooking at 170 degrees😊
Behan esa Kuch nhi hai fazool batain krte ye log beth k bus fazool time ink pas hai bht microwave ko b bolte lakin AJ tk koi mara nhi microwave se hr ghr mai hota hai
Do air fryers produce more acrylamide? Research has shown that air frying foods may result in a 75 to 90 percent reduction in the production of acrylamide compounds in comparison to deep-fat frying.Apr 4, 2022
Air-frying your food instead of using a deep fryer may help lower their acrylamide content. In fact, an authentic research study found that air-frying reduced acrylamide by up to 90%, compared with traditional deep-frying. I don't know which authentic articles she reads.
We have been using airfryer since last 2 years as i find it better the deep frying .... and I use it for roasting cheiken making kebabs. If you know any good or bad research, attach the link, please
How can you compare a smoked food with a food processed with normal hot air? The normal hot air never have sulphur dioxide or acrylamide etc. Can you please mention a clear difference.

hi can you share the reference of your statement please any recognised evidence based research ? can you share the link. I am sure as a doctor you are aware we follow evidence based medicine
Can you recommend which method we should use then???? because every household is having air fryer these days and people think its the healthy method of cooking food
@Electronics Hobby Projects Pure Ghee is most healthy as it has a high smoking point.. so even if you cook at a moderate to high temperature, there will be no carcinogens which is not the case with any oil.
Please explain trans fat...2ndly as man for thousands of yrs cooking meat on charcoal or wood...so was it also had been the same danger of trans fat..please explain...n 3rd...wat left for us to cook or bake..it seems all methods hav bad effects..so how should we make our food.
Deep-frying foods involves heating a large container full of scalding oil. This can pose a safety risk. While air fryers do get hot, there is no risk of spilling, splashing, or accidentally touching hot oil. People should use frying machines carefully and follow instructions to ensure safety.
