@Shakka Proxy We won more Grammy's than like how? We the first Africans to win Grammy's and we have the most genres of sound in Africa, if that alone doesn't show you who is in charge you lost. Your own artists copy our sound all the time and no, your sound is only in the west because you have millions of economic refugees there who have built communities and because those countries are liberal, they are been kind. SA sound travel around the world without South Africans running in millions all over the world. Quality over quantity

South Africa is one of the most diverse countries in the world they have all kinds of black people there's a whole race called coloured (people of mixed ethnicity) so will never stand out as a foreign person until you start speaking 😊

Neither of you would stand out in South Africa as far as how you look. Just regular guy & regular girl, neither of you looks atypical to SA. Only your accents would give you away. Chick-fil-A is not big in SA. You’ll struggle to find an outlet. KFC & McDonald’s are everywhere but why come to SA just to eat what you normally eat over there? Lots of other foods to explore & enjoy. We got you with Tequila even though SA is gin nation. Again, lots of new cocktails & drinks to explore.

Your know the difference with accent and culture. Africa is not a country but continent with different countries with their own languages and cultures. South Africans have always been great musicians and dancers. Can’t compare the music with any other afrobeats. Music unique because it’s all to do with their culture, language etc

While some of the style borrows from American Black culture, it has its own unique South African twist and African flavor. Hopefully you expand and actually have something of substance to say when you do reactions, I’m reading the comments and thrown off already, but I’m watching and see it myself, the whole “we’re different” thing is weird because plenty of SAns in the regular look like you, it’s not something to be taken aback by. Amapiano is distinct and not like Afrobeats at all, the video added nothing to the story, it’s just nit picking how people look, how they are dressed, haircuts and everything irrelevant, man, do better, both of you. Or just react to things you understand in the States.

Afrobeats and Amapiano sound nothing alike why lump them together? Unless one is deaf, they are not even close. Africa is not a single country it's a whole continent. Why is it so hard to comprehend that we have many distinct music genres? You think before Afrobeats was invented the only music in Africa was 'tribal' music? 😂 And the questions on skin colour were genuine ignorance at first then became ridiculous. Latina is not even a race. i.e. You would blend in well in Dominican Republic but not so much in Argentina. Same applies to Africa, some regions you'd blend well others not. Africans come in all skin colours and hair textures, we are 1.3 billion people. You would not stand out for your skin or hair especially in South Africa. Only your accent.
