This is a great summary. We recently had an offer from a buyer who wanted to assume our loan, and we didn’t realize it was an option. Our mortgage folks didn’t want to mess with it, and I’m kind of glad. They didn’t bother to explain that we could still be on the hook or I wouldn’t have considered it. Ready to be done and out.
