@Aidan S And yet, how many species (including humans) are dying because of the plastic they eat without knowing it? Between 93,000 and 236,000 metric tons of microplastic were in the oceans as of 2014. This was not counting the microplastic found on the ocean bed. It's probably way above that threshold now. Where do you think this microplastic goes? It's not dissapearing by magic. Solving a problem by creating another (bigger) one is not a good solution...
I shudder to think. Even a regular bucket here in the UK costs around £4.50 ($6.43) and a large costs £5.40 ($7.09). Baring in mind our regulars and larges are probably much smaller than in the US. (Medium size sweet popcorn is around 160g (5.64oz), large is 277g (6.25oz). Prices and sizes from Odeon cinemas)
@@carlosdelamora4917 The average price of a cinema ticket in the UK is estimated to be between $9.10 and $10.40 (£7 and £8). The UK Cinema Association puts it at $9.38 (£7.21) while other organisations suggest the figure is higher.
Cats are the most important thing in the history of humans and the goblin king of England has been blurred with the fact they were born in the United kingdom of the galaxy and friends of the world series in their opinions and their opinions and their opinions on how they were supposed and how they would have a great idea for a friend who has been in a relationship with someone who has been dating a few times before
@@Apollo_Vanron I refuse to believe this was written by a human. We get the idea that the whole world is filled with robots. They're almost certain to get infected and explode on the screen. But they're still humans. And maybe they never even think about it. And not only are they, but they aren't even robots.
I feel like the mayo is more of a nod to elote, or street corn. Give me a bowl of popcorn with all the ingredients of that, including the spices and cheese.. And we're onto something.
@@englishatheart Yep, I was gonna say...of the ones that were tried on that episode, I want to try the street popcorn sometime. Come to think of it, I've got mayo, and lime juice...don't have the chili lime salt..but that's easily remedied. Though I suppose I need regular popping corn for that.
Do yourself a favour; get some salty Butterkist microwave popcorn and cook it in a pot on the hob with just,,,, so much butter and a little extra salt. It'll change your life. Sincerely, a butter popcorn deprived Australian making it work living in England x
I’m only upto maple syrup but just in case they try it in this episode... I’ve put peanut butter in the microwave and when it was melted and liquified, I’ve put it on popcorn before. Soooo good!
New? Lol, nah, but tbh I can do without the nasty sounding stuff on the show. Actually, I would be perfectly happy to watch Josh try to make everything including weird stuff taste good.
I live in Vermont, a state that pride's itself on it's maple syrup. I've had maple popcorn before and it's pretty good. I've had like maple everything 😂 Cotton candy, milk, popcorn, snow, cereal, sausage, bacon, nuggets, etc
Took me a minute to find the new cups, had to use the search at the top. Ended up buying them and an apron and the kitchen towels and a bumper sticker. I always go overboard with my favorite guys! Get more masks in! :)
As a Belgian, this always confuses me so much. When my American fiancé told me for the first time that they put butter on popcorn, I didn't believe him. Ours is just salt or sweet. Oh. And in theaters you don't get a "fresh" portion. They're basically all made in a big batch in advance. Apparently not acceptable according to my fiance haha
@@Rainxiety Well apparently yes! But "not fresh" is all I ever knew! Overall we are more potato chips eaters at theaters anyway. (My fiance also thought this was a weird thing haha)
@@zacharytyrrell4545 To be honest I haven't tried yet! I'm not the biggest pop corn fan (maybe because I've never had fresh good one?). But I will definitely try it one time! Maybe I'll love it!
Thats hilarious, I had the same exact convo with my fiance from the UK. Both equally shocked. Love discovering the weird things and differences that otherwise appear normal
Buttered popcorn with Old bay seasoning is great 😃 Even just salt and pepper tastes good. I have also tried salt with a bit of sugar and it wasn't bad. Cheesy popcorn also is really good i just don't know how to make that myself.
Most European countries I visited eat them with mayo. You often get fries from Döner shops and they give you mayo and ketchup by default without asking. It happened everywhere I went in Germany. And when they didn’t just give me a sauce they’d always ask if I wanted mayo
Joxster fair enough haha, Belgium was my favorite county in Europe so if that’s what they believe then I believe it. The people there are so friendly I’d believe about anything they said
