I think that Apex legends is no longer looking for new players, it is only looking for new ways to make money. Literally the same thing that Riot games does

This game has never felt more boring. Even bringing back solos couldn’t get me excited. I’ll be taking a break for a bit.

The biggest problem this game has had since day 1 is lack of content. IDK if its EA not putting enough resources into the game or the game engine being so old that it takes forever to individualy add new content into the game without breaking the game.

The cheating is next level, even on console. Sbmm/eomm needs to be removed in pubs, tickrate server needs to be addressed. A game should not be this stressful to play. I know that eomm is supposed to retain players playing the game, but i find that i turn off the game frequently after being beaten up like a pinata by preds/cheaters all night. Sad to see the state of the game.

i hate EA

Entirely hackers. Its ruining the game. On top of that we need rank protection so high rank players go back to high ranks faster. I'm not great at the game, I'm hard stuck gold. And I'm still running into masters in silver and gold at the very end of the split

I feel like since this is a filler season, it’s going to do the same thing to player counts. Next season is full of content so just wait. But they need to do some about cheaters

It's crazy, but in EAs scramble to make more money, its actually just preventing itself from doing so. I mean: The over priced skins and how sub-par most even look; the cheaters; the constant inbalance of legends and guns; ranks loosing all meaning and value; etc. I enjoy this game, I honestly don't want to see it die, but EA's greed and lack of understanding of what their customers want, will cause any and all potential income to run dry quickly.

Matchmaking needs to be fixed. I started playing since Season 1. Still enjoy playing the game, Mirage needs a prestige skin 💯

They should remove the split forever. Bringing it back is a bad idea since this game derank everyone so the ranked can be very frustrating to play due to the high chance pros and tryhards will be in the same lobby for most of the time during the first few weeks of the split.

Game needs to die for the company to either learn from the mistake, or ea just being ea will jump to another game once its dead

haven't played at all in the last 3 weeks purely because lack of duos. One friend took a break, so me and 1 other friend were stuck to doing trios with randoms, and after about a week, i never wanna play with randoms again, NEVER. Won't be playing until duos come back or get full group.

I have a feeling they are relying on AI to predict future business models. But the problem is even if they’re 99% accurate. That 1% variability can make or break a game.

Netflix need to make an apex animated show

Stopped playing when they added Seer. Having a bloodhound and seer in every lobby was a nightmare. I've tried to get back in but the game has changed a lot from what I was used to. This is just preference and I'm probably in the minority.

solos was fun for like 2 weeks when people were playing all legends but now it’s seriously 80 percent horizons using havoc

Sad but I stopped playing cuz of sbmm,ik it's always a hot topic but I just can't tolerate this season,my enemies are near my skill lvl but my teammates are guys who just completed orientation matches and this annoyed me a lot

"What is causing this ?" Litterally every new player on apex on their first match after the orientation: - Matched with smurfs, preds, 4k, 20 kills players and some content creators abusing the matchmaking to make frag clips. We can say what we want about Overwatch 2, but blizzard was smart enough to put at least a Phone number requirement to even play the game to prevent sweaty tryhards to build an army of smurfs. What keeps a game alive is the constant renewal of the playerbase. I brought a lot of friends on Apex during the last few years. Most of them never played an FPS before and couldn't stand a chance against some solo 20 frags, octane movement player abusing neostrafe. Even tho SBMM is trash, as older player remember a time when u had to go trough pain to get better... nowadays the skill gap between a newcommer and a 2000h player, ils monstruous.

I'm bored. I get on and play 2 games then I log off. I used to play this game for 6 hours straight.

My biggest problem with Apex Legends is the matchmaking. I am a Gold IV player and I can't play happily. In unranked games, I always get matched against Predator and Master players, and in ranked games, I face people much better than me. I can't enjoy playing this game anymore. Over 300 matches this season and only 2 wins with a 0.7 K/D ratio.

Apex burns to ashes as its older brothers look on in disgust. Tf1 sheds a tear for another fallen brother but yet smiles at his end. Tf2 grins with happiness as he watches his evil counterpart fall as he once did, only hoping that his little brother feels the pain he endured. They both sit and watch as they wait for the day their unforgiving sibling falls so that their greatness can rise from his ashes.

matchmaking is so horrible especially in solos i've been hardstuck bronze since i've started and i continuesly get put into pred and master lobbies and in trios i constantly get put in triple stack lobbies

Recolours , a million collection events dumb teammates(noobs/ragequitters) , Sticker packs , Universal heirloom , Lack Of Audio, Bad servers, Boring map updates , A million scan legends , Removal of dive trails and they destroyed Worlds Edge .. Too many games out there to worry about this shit

I stopped playing around season 16. Its been absolutely dreadful

2100 hours and not playing as much these days because: 1) Cheaters 2) Matchmaking is broken (tired of being fodder for preds in pubs) 3) Macro transactions (cosmetics are not worth the price) There's no point in complaining since EA refuses to listen, so people are quietly quitting and moving onto greener pastures. I've been having more fun in Honkai Star Rail personally

Solos would make more sense if there were no drop ship. Everyone has a preselected landing spot. The way it is now just doesn't make any sense. Another option is to have something like 2-4 dropships coming from opposite sides. Can't stand it the way it currently is.

They're more focused on making cosmetics than fixing the game and nerfing op characters *cough* *cough* rampart

I actually quit because arena got removed and i think alot of people did i only came back to get ny first heirloom but once arena come back it will be real good

Adding solos after 19 seasons should be a crime dropping the level requirement for ranked should be a crime having us deal with stupid updates the whole season with little to no nerf should be a crime

my match making is crazzy. my kd this season is .7, and i am matching ppl with algs badges .... like on what planet does that retain players.

Apex was an unique BR for the speed it had, no game had that pace. Nowadays with the LP grind, its just like any other BR or the market. I think its boring camping and poking eachother till final zone....And it used to be so much fun back in the day.

I think the duo is more fun than solo. And in duo, you can still solo.

They need to stop false banning players

Honestly the last few season being infected with cheaters has completely destroyed this game. Make it so you need to lock a phone number to your account like Korea does! Everytime you get banned you need a new phone number for the account

I really think the havoc kills the fun in solos, along with horizon. Just sucks all the fun out of the game when everyone somehow has a havoc in their hands and 70% of the lobby is horizon

Apex has been fine. We came in as our trio in the new season and been smashing it up. Vibes have been good and I like the slower pace of apex. Biggest downfall of apex is they actually listen to moaning “content creators” and end up fucking ranked up or adding shit no one wants. It’s a free game made 1000000% better than your $100 cod, let them cook.

Dedicated list for mixtape/modes to choose from 💯 If XDefiant can do it, Apex can definitely do it. Also yes I've never really noticed a hacker issue much until solos.. Seems weird to suddenly have such a spike in cheaters all of a sudden.

I honestly think they could turn things around with a few simple changes. The cheater issue will take a little more effort on their part but most other problems could be solved easily. I think they've become greedy now that Apex is as big as it is today so problems get ignored for lower margins and higher profits. It's not about the game anymore. For them its about the money. Unfortunate....

In my opinion apart from the cheaters the battlepass plays a huge role in player retention and if you look at the battlepass there is not much in it worth the grind not to mention the cosmetics you might want can be unlocked in the first level of the battlepass

controller has not been nerfed, cheaters using hard cheats or configs/macros also have ruined the game

Solo's is the best thing to come to apex since the train and 3strike, and Cheaters are what is kiiling the apex

Solos is fun but Whorizon and the havoc ruins the fk out of it.

I just dont think theres any way of fixing it. Lower tier players always have to play 3 stack smurfing sweats. Lower tier players don't exists as much too.

The issue is EA focussing on money and new content, instead of focussing on the quality of the game. Hong Kong servers are beyond repair, making 20 bombs and 4k badges super easy for any pc player.

I'd totally start playing again if they, ya know, gave me back my 2000+ hours of game progression. But they don't even have a way to report these bugs, so there's no way to get it fixed. Guess I'll just keep playing Titanfall 2 🤷

the biggest problem is the sbmm in pubs.. makes the game unplayable. some of us have a life and cant play this game 5 hours a day

I think if they allowed consoles to plug in mnk it could help the players out on the pc lobby wait time and the aim assist debate. Duos should definitely make a return, should have never left to begin with. Cheaters are just gonna find another way around whatever they put out there trying to stop the current cheaters and hacks

I feel like for apex besides cheaters they kept nerfing wraith until she was really weaker overall for other legends and tbh from there a lot of legends got nerfed I think that’s the bigger reason why it’s hard to play now because if you didn’t keep playing and you as the returning player has to choose do I want to return how much did they change from my character now it’s that major feeling. Not know what your character can really do because it’s been so long that’s kinda why it’s a bit surprising they should take player reaction a bit more seriously when it comes to character nerfs because that really shapes if a player wants to return or not I remember when they changed wraiths portal time now if you rift in a fun fight head on its instant death… Some things need to be left alone because if player count drops some of the changes made were the problem map changes for the most part at least to me didn’t matter because ability outweighs terrain but not if your abilities are being stripped… I love this game but it’s harder than ever to play

Dude deacribe every single season,at the beggining everybody is playing and having fun fornlike a month or so,then the game goes dry and we end up with no we get no new teasers for events,and nothing to do,thr amunt of cheaters and the lack of things to work for.

I for sure agree with all this I was in a ranked match one day and I was fighting an octane seems normal right? RESPAWN an EA need to add in New Guns An new Attachments an old returning Attachments to the guns , an remove dead Slides from the game an bring back punch boosting an add in a (Playlist that grants you T.F2 Movement) and rewarded players when placing top 10, in every BR match free 10 apex packs.

Well Respawn rewards the hackers and punishes the legit players, the more money you spedn the easier lobbies you get, if you hack you enjoy the game if you don't you will only fave stress, i stopped playing because most of the time i was angry and stressed trying to stay next to the cheaters, and nod having fun, that's wasted time,

I play much less. EU Servers are now full of conroller players. None of my MNK friends play this game anymore.

So much wrong with apex, the 20tick server, the matchmaking, lack of updates and when there are any its just another fucking collection event, nothing's really happening either, i hate to say this but i see apex living only for like 2 yeats max, and if it does, i hope titanfall comes back

i think another reason apex is kinda dying is that it really isnt as fun as it used to be. season 3-7 was pike apex time, just cause it wasnt all about spending money but more just playing the game and having fun. also the feel of apex now days is just really different from old apex. im probably not the only one who misses old apex

I doubt you younger gens know the true definition of a "dead game". A game is truly dead or dying when there's literally only a couple of hundred people playing the game total. That would mean that the PC version and the console version of the game would only have 200 active players in total for the game to be considered "dead". Apex is a F2P game and because of that reason alone it will never "die" seeing as any one can literally download the game and play it for free.

Yall are over exaggerating. So what the game has less players now. That happened like 10 times already and all these players came back. Apex is a game with a high skill standard so that’s why people tend to take a lot of breaks. Apex e sports has been growing a lot over the last few months, with a lot of orgs coming back into apex and EA also announced a World Cup. This game will continue to grow or have the stay the same but it will not die in the near future.

Personally I would think that definitely stop putting hype on the katar cause I think a pencil would be a better heirloom than that and cheaters maybe prestige 2 because most cheaters would be dedicated if I was I would be dedicated if I want it that bad but this is just me I’ll let apex decide their next move cause as soon as I’m done with the battle pass im moving onto fallout and eventually bo6 but that’s my personal opinion on this situation and I think that the game is indeed getting a bit more boring especially because cheaters and sweats but yet again that’s just my lobby’s I think.

Shit it will die If EA dosen't get off the neaks of Respawn and stop forceing these collection event and bs. And just allow them to fix the "core" issues of the game. Lord knows hideouts and his team is understaffed. I'm not ranting but this game is like the ugly ducking of the Titan fall franchise but now it just feels exhausting even after taking a three month break.
