*Update: it IS possible to organize vault items to some extent.* You can create “groups” with just yourself (it’s not just for sharing) and separate logins that way. However, there is still no way to add tags to items or put items within a folder once inside a group. Thanks to @D8686M for the feedback.
At the time of this video going live, iOS 18 has been out for over a week. So I assume there was a long lag between recording this and releasing it? You mention there's no way to organise passwords by folders, but then literally mouse over the "add to Group" option, and even then talk about groups later. You don't have to have another person in a group. You can just use it for you to organise. I've been doing that since they first introduced groups over a year ago. I have all my work passwords in one group, passwords for hotel booking apps and websites in another, passwords for smart home apps in another, etc etc.
Hey, thanks for your feedback! Yes, we shoot videos a few weeks before release and decided it was best to try and time it with the software releasing as much as possible. Thank you for letting me know! I didn’t realize a group could be created for just one person. I suppose this setup is similar to a “vault” in other password managers. I’m adding a pinned comment with an update about this.
Thanks for replying! I just replied to your other comment, but yeah, you can use tags in the Notes field to organise and search by that. I also have a couple of passwords tagged with various comments that are searchable.
@@D8686M hmmm... that is one possible way to do tags, but you still can't see all of your tags at a glance or edit a tag name (without editing every single comment). Still a subpar way to organize the vault IMO, but glad it's at least an option.
