Great demo of the software that comes with the Minifuses. I just got one purely to use as a a mic/instrument input but this makes me appreciate the software a lot more, even if it’s not what I’ll use so much. A lot of folks will get a lot of use out of that. Quality. I definitely appreciate the five year warranty. Some of the other brands get a lot of compliments about features, but constant complaints about drivers or quality control. The warranty makes me trust it’ll be around a while. Another thing I wrote the company and confirmed: the Minifuses will run on usb power without being connected to a computer. So you can use a phone charger or whatever in the usb c power port, and the Minifuse’s preamps and headphones will still work for basic mixing, monitoring, and line output without any computer needed. So if Windows or Apple stop supporting the drivers or whatever (like Apple has done with everybody’s FireWire gear) the box will still work as a DI box or little 2 line mixer So that’s a bit of future proofing I’m happy with
Great video! Just want to add two things: first, the USB-port is low power, which in reality means it’s all good for data and midi but can only by itself power the least power hungry midi keyboards so check this out before buying if that is a plan of yours, like it was for me. Second, I can confirm it’s working great with iPads although not officially supported yet. An iPad with a lightning port cannot power the interface by itself but if you have an iPad with a usb-c port it will. Cheers!
Thanks for the clarification on the iPad usb-c! So if you have one of the newer ipad pros with USB-c , you can connect that directly to the minifuse and you done need to externally power the iPad nor the interface?
Great high quality content guys. Amazing. Cheers to ur presentation of video, sound and background quality of ur video. Such detailed review. Just wat I was looking fr b4 being sold fr Arturia minifuse while I was confused between 1 or 2 if I were to go with it. All questions answered by u guys. Thanks a lot and love from Mumbai, India.
26.50mW into 300ohm and 49.30mW into 150ohm (according to Julian Krause test), I guess it'll be good enough for 250ohm dts since sensetivity is 96db = 25.2mW for fairly loud 110db spl but if you'll save a bit more money u can get Audient iD4 MKII with much better specs
