Which in my opinion is great cuz if you really like something, you can cop it, rock it, and then let go of it when that time comes

Clothing on the other hand, usually a shirt will cost between 5-10% of what it costs to manufacture it. For bape probably 2%

my reasons why bape is worth it. 1.its a legendary streetwear brand, lots of history behind it and culture. 2. it has unique and interesting designs, nothing no other brand has (shark hoodies, camo, etc) 3. lots of hype meaning the clothes you purchase can increase in value if you resell 4. really dope collabs (supreme, carhartt, stussy, bounty hunter, adidas, undefeated, etc.)

Real talk. I remember I was in high school and just was getting into the shoe game. My dad took a vacation to Japan and I asked if he could pick me up some bapestas, which costed ALOT even back in 2008. Even Gave him a printout of google maps on directions to get to the store in shinjuku and everything. My dad managed to get there and got a pair for me. Felt like a boss at school, not gonna lie. At the end of the day....its fucking Bape!

I think the problem with Bape for me, is that the retail price is too much. On the other hand, Supreme retail prices are for the most part very reasonable. For example, most t-shirts release for $44, while Bape t-shirts release for $98 or $112. That is just way too much. And then put resale on top of that.... DAMN That's why ima still rock with Supreme over Bape :)
