I watched some of your The Finals stream last night. It made me want to play the game. So I switched on the PS5, and ended up playing 2042 anyway.

This is how I feel about Battlefield. Nothing touches it. There is so much variety in the game. I have fun with it so that’s what counts 👍

I play it every day for about 2hrs. And i agree there is no other game like it. But that doesn't make it a good game. It is still f.ed in so many ways. Do I have fun with the buddies every day yes. Is it a terrible game also yes. Lol

I started to get tired of 2042 and went looking for other games but that’s when I realised it wasn’t battlefield that was the problem I was just tired of multiplayer in general, so I’ve been mostly playing single player games for the past few weeks and it’s made me enjoy 2042 again when I do go back and play it occasionally

I bought battlefield for a friend on his bday whilst it was on sale (hope he likes it), u should try rainbow six seige or any other games in the series as the are tactical and unique

the latest vehicle update made things worse. my Nightbird feels so different. my miniguns lost distance and power, and i feel so much slower now. turning feels like someone holding my neck. i cant dive as fast as i used to. i think they added a height limit where i get EVEN SLOWER. the added reticle is supposed to increase accuracy but does the opposite. they FINALLY added gunner facing direction , which BF3 always had. i just got off a few games of All-out-superiority and it was unbearable. it was tolerable before but now theyre just trying to push us off this game. ive had enough.

Dead...trying to find active game modes in Oceana is super-hard (and this is a cross-play game). Sums it up in a nut-shell tbh. I've moved on and won't be revisiting it ever again

Battlefield 1 is worth another look

It's 2042 and 7D2D....no other games for a bit. Since like...Back 4 Blood....sad dry times for gamers right now...

I played 2042 hardcore from launch till season 5, the past couple seasons really were dedicated to a certain group of players thats not me in a BF game. And honestly with most of my stuff T1 theres not much thats got me like i need my bf fix, it kinda died for me after redacted. But Helldivers 2 is my current game of the grind

Just because there's no new content coming doesn't stop the fun...bf1...bf5...bf3...bf4...all have no new content and are all great fun

I love the variety anything can happen every match and the graphics are spot on, Audio spot on, but one map is unfinished

I’ve played many multiplayer FPS games going back to the original Rise of the Triad, many of the CoD games, but I have not played any of them as much as I have played 2042. I dont know why it gets as much hate as it does, but I have not been hooked on a game as much as I have with 2042.

Its true, a lot of new content has come out over the past couple of years that performs better than 2042. It doesn't even have to be an online game, People just need to broaden their gaming experiences. I wish more people had an enjoyment for building style games, Understandable if they don't, Frost Punk 2 will be hours worth of entertainment. Peoples attention span on content is pretty low, when you consider you can watch a great movie for 2 hours with thrills all the way through. Real Civil Engineer produces some quality content and I don't even play the games he pumps out(maybe some, depends if the devs made a console port).

I can finally say, that bf2042 is not a good time anymore for me personally. Once bots start populating the map, it downgrades. Makes me really miss the gun mechanics in warzone

I agree with you. Nothing compares to BF. Even 2042 is not a bad BF game. Maybe not the best one but since the launch of season 1 I have been having a blast and still am 1200+ hours later. Yes it should have been like this at launch. I respect that argument but it so fun and it feels like a bf game no matter what people say. Your a tough one to work in this toxicity. I dont know why BF is not a top fps contender for so many ? If I take my friends for exemple I think they hate dying to random shit. I think they just dont understand the game, the flow and are always frustrated cause they die all the time. It is a hard game to start for some people. It took me some time before I got good but I was so in love with the action and the atmosphere that it hooked me in anyways. I find WZ to be ok once and a while but I love the chaos in BF. Milsims are way too slow but interesting nonetheless. Very time consuming though to learn. I really appreciated Hell divers. It felt fresh. The Finals gets boring after 1 or 2 games. I cant get enough of BF and I hope that the next one get it back to its glory days!

Well if you keep buying shit games then there will never be anything to play. You can like it... The rest of the community don't, that's why we don't play it and more people play the older games ATM. Never seen so many players on the real battlefield games since their launches!

Yes it's dead if you turn cross play off on xbox. It's hard work playing against pc players as a casual gamer and also hackers. I've got clips of being killed by plays when I'm behind a brick building

There’s absolutely no other game like battlefield! . Even though I play COD mostly because it’s easy lol . Just the amount of different things that you can do and get good at in battlefield games is insane compared to the other franchises….

Why does it take forever to load a 32 V32 game. It takes forever to reach 16 to kickoff. And im sick of Doha stadium. In pc mode no crossplay.

I smell copium on this video. Battlefield will have risk of dying as a franchise if next game fails. Most likley EA might considering cutting more things due to lack of revenue.

I really am in love with Battlefield 2042, at first it was obvious that it was wrong, but now the game is very enjoyable, what happens is that there are people who, even if everything is fine, there will always be something they don't like.

Don't play or not play games because the public tells you to, sure they won't update any more but it is a damn fun game and nothing comes close to it. Nobody has managed to replicate the Battlefield feeling in games and I will still keep coming back to this.

Being also very familiar with VR games this game is faaaar from dead. Average vr games hold about a quarter of the equivalent population of flat screen games.

They usually die when new players are joining but the servers are full of hardcore fully kitted out experienced players, who know the guns maps etc and they have other games to play too so dont last long.

The fact is, tried to download and it play one of the modes. If gives me the bug where its automatic your screen black and brings back to lobby so i refunded and not worth it

Tbh people hate the game now out of trend they dont even care to see the improvements because:" it was bad at launch" what it was but why doesnt the game deserve a 2nd chance like no mans sky or cyberpunk?

hopped on bf4 yesterday found a tdm server with 64 players on the server browser instantly. You dont need millions of players to have a playable game, hell I played bo2 multiplayer in 2020 and prestiged twice before leaving, and it had like 400 daily players

I literally could not find a game on a Saturday, at 12 pm, on US East Cost, with Cross Play on. Game is deader then disco, or any studio EA gets.

Every single online game I've ever played, I've heard the cries of "Dead GAME!" by day 2, by people playing the game....

2042 is a soulless game. The older BF games are still more fun than 2042.

There's no other game like Battlefield for me too. You can play the game in so many different ways. That said, after playing the game since launch and after they stopped supporting the game (no more maps), I also started playing Helldivers 2 a lot. It also has some great moments and lots of fun. I would suggest you give it a try with some friends. Its also great for live streaming and having a laugh.

I have close to 1500 hours invested in this game and still enjoy it every day. There is no other game like it. And until no one plays it, it's not dead. Also, if Specialists don't make it into the next BF, it will never die unless they shut the servers down.
