35 to 42 stops an hour??? 😂 MAYBE if you had all residential. I averaged 20-25 an hour. I am not running and injuring myself for a damn package. Hell nah
I do 34. Something walking you have to set yourself up to grab and go dnt spend to much time at one stop make contact if you dnt bring it back also go straight to your first stop no In between only at, break if you take one pack lunch night before and check weather night before this shit is all preparation g
The day goes by so damn fast. One minute you’re organizing everything, the next you’re at your last stop. I have a blast, it’s only my personal life that would affect work.
Yall so dramatic 😒 it’s the best job out there. U don’t have people micromanaging u for everything u do!! Easiest money making job out here! Yall just lazy
@@Jc_859 Very true if they had less stops and packages or at least 2 people working together per van/truck and starting time early in the morning it would be way better. One time I had seen a Fed ex driver in a van walk in a regular pace to deliver his package, I was so jealous lol
30-40 stops an hour is easy in residential neighborhoods. But once you get those rural routes and apartments, forget about it. My main route is a retirement community. Couldn’t ask for a better location to deliver in.
My last day as Ana Amazon driver I had so many bins full of packages it took 3 people to shove my van full and shut the side door, I started my shift at 5am got out of the facility loaded by 6:30 and ended my shift by 3 after they sent someone to pick up some and help my route. Meanwhile I saw people with half loaded vans at the beginning of the shift. I finished my shift and quit. It’s only easy when you get easy routes, but they punish good drivers with more packages and longer routes and they reward bad drivers with less packages and smaller routes. I’d understand if I was making more an hour but I wasn’t so I left.
All in the mind. You have to be mentally prepared for this job. I quit then came back because I literally mentally prepared myself for it lmao I love the job.
@@The_LoRaX_loves_TREES I wont lie I loved the walks and the nature and the lack of contact with other people but there was more going on in the background as well
I do 180+ stops (220+ locations) a day in an English city. I hurt from the job, like shins and knees. It's not easy unless you have small routes. On an odd occasion when i do a 6th day I might get a rural route, physically easier and maybe only 130-150 stops but they take me longer. Id rather bash out the big routes, but it isn't easy purely on the amount of stops. Apart from that the job is alright
You deff deliver in residential areas all day. I'm In the sticks dealing with mile long driveways. Rural areas all day. 160 stops too. That's a lot for those areas. 5-10 min drives each stop. At least
Man is breaking every rule in the book that'd get him tier one'd if amazon caught him, making it so he could never work for amazon again, but it aint hard bro.
That is an extremely light delivery load. That would be an easy day. But when you get a real load out, its 98 degrees out and you end up in a place with heavy traffic and construction. Thats shit is trash. Some days amazon just sets a driver up for failure.
Residential homes I deal with have long harsh hilly driveways. Try doing your job correctly and get 30 an hour. Knees are gone. Hurts more coming down then going up.
@@RCAPERS23 So does mine ( Lake Tapps WA) 😭 it sucks. But I drive my van up the driveways. They don't care I've never gotten any complaints. So maybe drive up the driveways so you don't have to face that pain. Think smarter so you don't have to work harder 😁.
The stops per hour won’t ever be the same. It all depends if your in the city or in the country. Ifyour in tre country it’s like 20-25 stops an hour and city it’s like 25-35 stops an hour
I average about 30 stops an hour in most routes and they usually give me 170-190 stops a day with about 40 group stops so typically I have 210-230 houses a day. It's pretty easy unless you work downtown, but rural areas are cake.
I do about 30-40 stops per hr. It just depends on the area u in really some places are spread out or more difficult to get to so takes more time. But overall it isn't a bad job just the way the driver are treated as slaves instead of human beings and have to do all the extra b.s like pics and dealing with metrics and stuff takes a lot of the enjoyment away from the job. Overall if it paid more had actual benefits that were affordable and ppl were treated as disposable and actually valued by the employers instead of just getting told everyday about how they'll get fired for w.e. dumbass reason it would be more fun and enjoyable. And the amount of bs. We have to take from some customers because Amazon values them way more then the drivers overall though other than the lying and stupid complaints from petty ass customers it can be an enjoyable job. Just a lot of thing need to go and better treatment of drivers who literally do most of the work.
I’ve been delivering for Amazon since 2019, and I’ve switched to 5 different DSP groups by now and it makes a HUGE, DRASTIC, BIG difference on how being an amazon delivery driver is bc DPS group leaders are the KEY to how chill or HELLISH your day to day working there will be… out of my 5 different DSP groups 2 were AWESOME!! 1 was OKAY, and the other 2 sucked absolute ass. Major favoritism, unorganized and poor communication. The job is already physically and mentally hard enough with 200 stops/300 packages a day, not counting the hot weather and cold ass winters and hard raining days!!! Some DSP groups have 5 to 10 drivers quit a WEEK, while the DSP’s with good leaders, the drivers rarely leave. Choose the DSP you join wisely!!!❤ Amazon has over 100% turnover rate for a reason(s)😂
You don’t deliver in socal , socal has very high volume , split routes . Yesterday in lake Elsinore I delivered 394 packages , 188 stops . 45 minute drive just from the warehouse alone
im sayinnnng like why tf you giving me 20 bags an 34 overflow with 160 stops on a route that has trouble getting 100 stops in , getting constantly rescued because your boss cant count is so dumb
Work at a warehouse it’s worse. You’re on you’re feet non stop while bending the knees to grab something stop complaining take care of your health, take vitamins and eat right and you’ll be good there’s way more psychical jobs than delivering packages lol you’re lazy.
This ninja fucking up the curve, 20 -25 a hour is it until they like ups ....When you work for the richest guy on the planet and still can't at least get your 40hrs a week because they constantly trying replace you everyday , because this is not a job to keep more than a year. I was trained by someone only was there 3 months
They legit say not to put any packages in the front 💀💀 they have cameras in all the vans where I work st too and they showed not to have urine bottles because people have left them when they dropped off the van for the day lmao
You can tell the people that are willing to sacrifice their health or mental health for no pay raise are benefits or incentives when they start rushing to deliver for Amazon if you're going to be working that hard go to another company that will compensate you for working ur ass off Amazon doesn't care and they will just increase your account while your company makes more money and you don't get a pay raise usually the people that go all out for people that have just barely started working and are easily mentally manipulated by Amazon corporations under shity greedy manipulative ways to mess with people's heads
Brody got the residential route I’m jealous they eventually see you doing well and give you harder and harder routes ime wine country and mall/business routes are hell
The problem is the customer feed back with. O reason if there packege gets stolen. Is gona be your fault and thats tge thing you still geting bad customer feed back for not reason the job is. Easy. The customer’s makes it hard. For us beacsue some of them complain you dint follow their instructions when you clearly see in the app leave it at the fron door 😑
Yeah, it just depends on how in-shape you are. My shins are terrible, but I can thug it out. Still young ( 32 y/o ) 🤷🏻♂️ Them apartments be gettin you though!
Bruh I knew someone the was a Amazon delivery driver she was delivering a package when a car pulled up to the truck and opened the truck and took her bag from the front seat shi had me dying 😂😅
Only black people will laugh at something as ignorant as this. Yeah it’s funny until it happens to you right? I’m black as well, stereotypes exist for a reason.
Most of yall that complain about the job are probably just out of shape. If you’re a gym bro….this job easy asf. Unless you get 300+ stops . Just don’t be an overachiever , they don’t pay for it
