he literally crafted the roster each year they lost too. BB was there when the patriots were winning or losing, but when TB was there, they were only winning.

Brady was able to win with a lot of "bum" rosters on offense though. Brady covered up for a lot, which allowed Bill to put together some good defenses. And even then, Bill never really crafted some all-time, ALL-TIME defenses.

Zero TDs from Brady and only one pass over 20 yards. Bill was no huddling and letting the play clock down to 15 seconds so Goff couldn't get play info from McVay. Bill also disguised coverages, they would come out in zone and switch to man. Or blitz heavy look then drop back to zone. Goff struggled reading the defense all game. Props to Belichick for keeping Brady… but is he the only one that would keep Brady? Brady went 5-2 while Bledsoe was hurt with dominant wins vs Bledsoe who went 5-13 in ugly games. It took Brady 7 games to win 5 games and took Bledsoe 18 games to win 5 games. Not only that, a lot of players including Randy Moss said they came to NE to play with Brady. When Brady went to Tampa, Gronk, AB, Fournette, etc. went to Tampa. No one went to NE to play with Belichick. You’re also giving Manning/Colts too much credit in the playoffs. 2020 was rough year, they made the playoff in 2021 but by that point all of the great players on the team were either old or all but retired. Granted he's had misses in the last couple of drafts but as much as we scoff at the Cole Strange 1st round pick in 2022 we have to applaud the Mike Onwenu 6th round pick from 2020.
