As a life long Bills fan and all around NFL fan as well as 25+ yr veteran of fantasy football, that it's utterly ridiculous to call Josh Allen overated! Here is exactly why! Where did he go to school? Who wanted him? Despite all of that, the desperate Bills took him, after trading away the pick for a great short lived CB, and Mahomes gets picked by the Chiefs! Allen goes to a dumpster fire! New regime, made a splash last season! Mahomes rides the pine until needed on a team that had made the playoffs with a Superbowl losing head coach who is great, but hadn't completed the final goal! Allen had Zay Jones, Kelvin Benjamin, and, Maybe Isiah Hodgens! The fact that Allen isn't on the all NFL 100 pick six list, while Mahomes, Jackson, Burrows, Prescott, are all on it! Yes he throws picks! He threw the most last season! He also scored more TD even if you subtract the picks then Jackson! The bias is real! And it's utterly ridiculous! Even Brady says the guy is special!
The defense by Orlovsky is poor. Outside of Mahomes, there are no great qbs. Josh Allen isn't even close to Mahomes, he is a bad turnover machine. He would be much worse if the Bills didn't play so conservative and Allen is the reason why they play conservative. Whenener they open it up, Allen's turnovers skyrocket. Josh is lucky he plays on a team that annually gives up about the fewest points in the league. Orlovsky is the poster boy on why Allen is so overrated. A lot of these media guys want to pump up qbs because they want fans to be more interested in their team and follow the sport more. Good for business. Allen is diverse in that he can lose games with picks or by fumbling. So even when the Bills have him run a lot, which is his best attribute, he still manages to blow games by putting it on the ground at the worst moments. Sorry, I've watched too many games where Allen single-handled loses a game to an inferior team with poor play. People wonder why these lose to some teams, Allen is the most common reason by laying an egg in games that should have been a layup. Of course, Allen can make great plays and no one will deny he has tremendous talent at the position. The problem is all the really bad mistakes he makes especially in crucial moments that costs the team games. And this is with the coaches protecting him from himself. There's Mahomes and everybody else and I don't care if someone puts Allen 2 or not as the gap between Mahomes and the rest is huge.

Josh Allen has had the perfect game, I'm pretty sure most of you people in Boston would have watched that game. Hell Billy B. went into the Bills locker room after the game to congratulate Allen. When I said perfect it was just that. 7 possessions 7 TD's. But here it the stat most people forget in that game there was only one play outside of a penalty that went for negative yards. That was against the 4th best D and it was a playoff game.

Give me anyone who called Diggs a top 5 WR before he had Allen? Diggs never finished top 10 in catches or yards before Buffalo. Bills defense has consistently been horrible in post season. The Bills defense gives up a full score more in Allen era in post season, than KC in Mahomes era in post season and over 10 points more than Bengals defense in Burrows era. Allen left the field with a lead in one game vs Mahomes. Another he had 3 deep passes dropped and a missed fg at the end. Unless you are telling me Allen is supposed to play defense, catch his own dimes, and kick fgs, idk how you come out of those games thinking Allen isn’t good enough.

Josh allen had steph diggs who for a bit yes was a top 5 WR, he never had a run game till 2023, never had a top 15 O-line until 2023, gabe Davis never became what they hoped, They did have a descent slot WR in Beasly for 3 years (but he was past his prime). But it takes more then having one great WR. HOneslty it takes having a good O-line which will give you a serviceable Run game at the very least. Patrick had Hill and Kelcy, and when hill left they hit on all their draft picks and had a top 5 Defense, Mahommes has had a top 3 Oline every year he has played, he has the the second greatest Offensive coach in hisotry, behind Bill walsh. Josh allen has had 3 differnt OCs. Josh has done way more with way less. And the 2nd and 3rd losses to the Chiefs were not d/t his play (defense pooped the bed in 2021 (13 second game), and last year diggs drops a pefect pass 60 yard bomb to put them on the 20 yard line with 2:30 left and then bass misses a very makeable FG to go to OT (sure maybe the chiefs go down in 30 seconds and win), and they had 4 defensive starters out (Bendord, Milano, Bernard, white), 2 which are 1st team all pros in Milano and White, then there was Von miller who was not Von Miller. its hard to win games when 37% of your total salary cap is on the side lines or coming back from ACL) unfortunatle Josh cant catch and play defense. his career playOFFS Josh has had 5 turnovers, 4 of which came in 2022 (just a bad year all around for buffalo), but other wise his 4 other playoff years he combined for 22 TDs and 1 turn over. Why do we keep up with this Allen loses to Mahommes nonsense. I do not remotely consider myself an expert, but football is a team sport. That includes defense, offense, special teams, and coaching. And more than most sports I find coaching in football to be very critical. If we strictly swapped QBs from Bills to Chiefs, what would the outcome be? People need to stop reducing a team to one player, because it is not. And this idea that super bowl wins dictates how good an individual player is, is foolish.
