This is why Bismarck was deleted as soon as humanly possible. Mf was gonna chew the Atlantic fleets to shreds if it got loose.

Bismarck is my most played ship but as I unlock more and more ships I am starting to realize that Bismarck is nowhere near the best at the tier.

i have read the book of memories from one of the artillery commanders, who managed to survive. He mentioned words from one of the electrics, who controlled different machinery and electric systems on the opposite side of the ship, which was bombarded by Rodney and other ships. Until he heard evacuation signal, he claimed the situation on his side as fine, everything worked as it should. But when he came out and saw what left……..😮

Bismarck is good when you build into main gun damage and pen angles. I hold the belief that its secondaries are mainly fireworks, get up close, chunk and drive by anything that’s close. I’ve done 190k in the Bismarck and consistently push 100k. Perhaps not the greatest ship in game but it’s not terrible.

I think the Bismarck has been fine for awhile now. I think it's often a misplayed ship (no big surprise there) and subject to hyperbole when described. I'll have more on that in a N.Y. minute. It's got very good armor. And despite the hyperbole out there, the secondaries are effective and not just a fireworks show, it's fast, the main guns are quite capable of causing a variety of damage onto a chosen target. And yes the superstructure is a weakness but here's the thing.... The Iowa and Kansas superstructures are also quite visible and very vulnerable to focused farming so let's dispose of the Confirmation Bias shall we? It's fallacious reasoning. The Bismarck isn't for everyone which is fine. Play styles, critical thinking and ship preferences vary from player to player and with it are ships that will work and others that will not. We can mostly agree that the American battleships are generally the best in a this game, particularly at Tier 7 because the tier is positively saturated with them (Iowa, Alabama, Massachusetts, Georgia, Kansas, Constellation, Missouri & AL New Jersey) that's 8 ships representing one nation at Tier 7...no competing nation comes close at the Tier. I've zero doubt that we will see Wisconsin, but that's just me. And those ships will generally reward a player with a common cookie cutter commander build. They're simple to play because the expectations are often a promise that will be kept which is comforting and intoxicating. That's also incredibly boring at times. It's a good thing we have variety to attract different players with different tastes, preferences, etc. It's healthy to challenge one's mind and comfort zones. Is the Bismarck for everyone? Nope. Spartan demonstrates that truth when a video is made regarding a German battleship in most cases, though there are a few exceptions. They're not her thing as a general rule which is fine. Yet Spartan gets a Kraken in the Bismarck...the irony is difficult to miss. 😜 Where the stars and stripes shine is where Spartan comes to dine... It's a daunting task to become equally good in all battleships, unless you're Metajerk of course, whom I suspect is a cyborg, but I digress. My investigation team is working on that story as I speak. As for me, I like the Bismarck very much it's a classic brawler that requires a player to handle the ship wisely with a nod to its strengths and a responsible understanding to its limitations. Having said all of that, I enjoyed the intro to this video. It was unexpected, yet creative and refreshing. I think Spartan is on to something, but that's just me.. I'd like to see Spartan take the Hood out into a match and present the old girl in an updated video. Spartan? What say you!?

I use Von Hipper with New Jersey and Andrew Cunningham. Run Cannonier, Drillbits, Marksmanship, Proper, and Will to Rebuild for a HUGE boost to your heals. This ship was good back in 2021, now it’s just an old ship with no precision and not enough tanky (Kutuzov and HE spammers will eat you Pretty quick). Back in the days i used to deal 120k damage with it but now making 50k seems like a miracle, dev must do something!!

if the bismarck had the actual ww2 accuracy then it would have shredded other ships like nothing. moreover secondaries just spitting fire here-and-there. Also despite being attacked by all the royal navy she stood her stand for hours and fighting back, royal navy struggled to sink this one ship. They got know that why that german shiffe was called BISMARCK. Bismarck, Yamato & Iowa are just legends. In real life no ship could match their power.

Spartan you music levels are way to high. It's distorted. And you need to fade the music out nit just clip it. If you are going to add things to your videos make sure you do them right. It makes your videos appear cheap in production value

As an American I feel kinda left out that no one wrote a song about Iowa, or, hell, especially Enterprise and her 20 freaking battle stars. lol I've never been impressed with Bismack in the game, both playing the ship and playing against the ship. I think the problem is the Bismarck so just...eh? You build into main guns and you're underwhelmed by eight 15in guns with crap penetration at t7. You build into secondaries and the problem is...eh? The secondiaries put on a good show but struggle to hit anything. You think, "well, at least I'm tanky and have good armor" and then the survivability is so just....eh? Granted, it's not the armor's fault, it's the fact that the freaking super structure seems to never get saturated so it doesn't matter if the armor is good. I also kind of agree that Bismarck, historically, tends to be overstated, at least by a lot of people in the comments. Bismarck was a tough ship and pretty fast but, even at the time of it's launch, it's firepower was nothing all that spectacular. The Americans, for example, had older battleships with twelve 14in guns. Colorado had eight 16in guns. Some of the British ships also had 16in guns. And, god help the Bismarck, Yamato was right around the corner with nine 18.1 in guns. In a straight up slugging match Bismack could hold its own but was at a disadvantage to many of the battleships of it's time or those that were about to join the war. "King of the ocean" might just be overstating the matter a tad. Please don't crucify me Sabaton fans.

I have to say with ciliax as a captain and hipper and al bismarck as Inspirations its honestly insane how accurate the secondaries got like i really enjoy this ship and even with al bismarck as captain and hipper and hernandez as inspiration its honestly insane too love it. Main guns still suck tho but hey if they behave u have alot and i mean alot of fun

The most frustrating thing is that the guns are so inaccurate. The shots landing before and behind the enemy at the same time but doesn't hit where they should. But good armour tho.

Bismark is the perfect ship for new players in the game to make a start (there are also nicely balanced bb to help new players to learn how to play like: Vladivostok(my love she has insane armor and helps to learn how to angle without getting not a single penetration nice heal and fast cooldown damagecon (you would probably put Iowa in her place but trust me vlad is the one)) Iowa (I found her amazing and she would be better if she would have a bit higher turning circle cause she is a heavy battlecruiser) and third what else from the Italian bb Roma(she just have a smoke that's enough for new players to get out from rough situations) (you would probably expect me to say a Japanese or a German battlecruiser ship but not today😂). To close Bismark is worth learn the basic mechanics of the game, because she has good amount of fire power, survivability, agility and secondaries also she could be pretty good for both brawling and sniping

My build for Bismarck and Zieten is just dumb enough that it works. I use Franz Von Hipper using Flammable Cannonier, Knight Spirit, On Second Though, and Reaching Out XXL and WTR for the extra HP gained per heal. I also use De Revel and Ding Ruchang as inspirations. I build for full reload and use the Epic Reload Modification. It's disgusting when you do enough damage. You get a sub 20 second reload, and people just don't expect it and you usually end up blapping people.

People always say Bismarck was a bad battleship (IRL) because he only sank one ship and then got sunk. However people forget or just don’t know that he sank the good, most powerful mid war battlecruiser, the pride of the Royal Navy. No wonder he was sank, think of it. Sinking the pride of one of the biggest navy’s in the world, every ship, every battleship assigned to sink the killer of HMS hood. Bismarck was truly marvellous engineering. Plus, it’s a beautifying ship to gander at. Not as beautiful as hood though in my totally not bias British opinion…

Beautiful video and intro Spartan. I love running the Bismarck and the B version since I got them. I run full accuracy on normal Bismarck and full secondaries on B and it works fine.

Sparty, rockin in the Sabaton. Like some of the first T7 TT BBs she seems a bit power crept, I've had plenty of good games, plenty of duds, so inconsistent, seems to be the best description. I have a soft spot for her as she was my first tier 7 BB that I ground out and after the Noisycow at T6, she seems way better at first than she is. Great game! Thanks for sharing.

I get what you mean about not getting along with a ship. It's the same for me with Iowa. I can pull good games in Kansas, Georgia, Alabama, and Massachusetts no problems but Iowa is pain for me. Love the theme so far with these types of vids.

We Brits say Implacable the same way you do. Etymologically, it’s from the same root as placate, please, and has no relation to place, hence the lack of an e. I used to run Bismarck with the yellow gun turrets too but it’s been pretty thoroughly debunked as inaccurate now, so I take him (German innit) out in his traditional camo. I agree he’s inconsistent but whenever there’s a ‘get 300 secondary hits’ mission’, Bismarck is my go-to. I should research Schlieffen. I hope the kraken made your night worth it!

My first tier 7 battleship. Still old reliable for a good game but I agree the AA is godly shite In all fairness I much prefer Tirpitz given its torps Don't have Brandenburg so I can't give my opinion Odin and the battle cruiser seems great on paper but it just constantly inconsistent Anhalt is a interesting not bad but interesting My only recommendation is getting Tirpitz using Hide and learning to cope with a full brawler build and learning when to push correctly

Bismarck is solid but the superstructure pretty much defeats the whole purpose of having good armour

Once people figured out you could just AP its superstructure and chunk damage it to death, it became a lesser feared ship.

I’m angry and I like the Bizzy!!!… although I agree with where you’re coming from. It can be painful in a lot of games that are matched wrong… but when it’s played aggressively on a good game, it’s super rewarding

The Bismarck does seem to possessed solid reliable endurance and armor and her armor piercing capabilities are great when they work but that's just it my experience with the Bismarck and game is her guns simply are not accurate at any distance except under five kilometers I don't know if that was a conscious decision on wargaming part or not but it is infuriating because the battleship Bismarck in real life had Precision artillery to the best of their advantage I mean they sank the battlecruiser HMS Hood almost effortless and under 30 minutes

I also don't understand having a ship solely designed for secondaries. And bitch the whole game that your main guns are not as accurate as ships that are built for accuracy. That makes no sense to me. If you want the Bismarks main guns to be more accurate then forgo the secondary build. I don't think the Bismark is a kite around the edge of the map firing at ships 15 plus km away from you. The Bismark is a up in your face call out the red team for a toe to toe fight kinda ship. So if that's not your game style. Don't play the Bismark. It's like DDs that open fire on BS out in open water. Why. What on earth do you think your 3 or 4 127s or less are going to do vs you being spotted and focused. It some ship require a certain way to play them. No matter their class

What camo is that? I have the B version but rarely take her out. I prefer the Tirpitz as at least she has torps for close quarters action. Shame both iconic ships are meh in the game. Does not do them historic justice as they were capable of obliterating anything in their time and were legendary accurate.

Spartan mentions Bismarck B... You're probs having much better games coz it's a Premium ship And we ALL know how it works as it coincidentally happens in WoT Console.... You splash money, expect everything to be better. Shot dispersion, penetrations, damage in a game... It's probably why you're having much more success in the B than the tech tree version. But that's just me, and from my observations when I've decided to splash some cash on WoWsL

Hey Spartan! May I ask what your commander/upgrades build is? I'm using a full seconary one both for the ship perks and the commander (ciliax), but seeing both that 18km range and higher hp pool makes me curious.

I play the Bismarck often, she is -Tanky -Fast and Maneuverbility for a BB -Sonar BAD -UNconsistend Main guns..Man the 🎉... -Not much range with Main Guns - Dispersion is Bad. -I always get my Rudeer jammed😂 like the real one 😅 But i must say Friedrich der große is really worse than the Bismarck 😅

I love Bismarck. It's my most played ship. Sure, secondaries are mainly for show, but when I spec into accuracy, it actually hits something. I just add von Essen and alidad skill, don't snipe, and I find him serviceable. Maybe it's just me, but I feel the Bismarck should have had the best armor in the game, knowing that the RN beat the shit out of it, and STILL couldn't sink him. The Germans had to scuttle him. Also, most likely just me, I think the Bismarck should of been T8 or even LT owing to his history 😮

Its a beautiful ship and it would have been very deadly with some support. Obviously if you send out a battleship no matter how armored it is with only a single cruiser escort and then have said escort peel off after pissing off the entire British Navy it is not going to last too much longer.

Any ship is good if its played the right way.. I just end up playing them all wrong lol..

I know you hate this thing but you need to try an aim build, I use von Hipper with Cunningham and the italian guy that gives shell grouping, my damage record is 240k with this thing, with this build Bismarck is consistent, sometimes rng says no but it happens with all of the ships, Bismarck is my most played ship by the way and I love it since I unlocked it

You need to channel your inner German. Don't focus too much. Just go out and have fun. Also, everyone gets that bad luck the bismarck had.

Not really fan of Bismarck But I wanna talk About today with me on a dentist appointment 4 months ago They took my first wisdom teeth out But today they took all 3 of them. Out I was bleeding Non stop I even accidentally spit it on the floor I think I lost 25 or 10 Percent of my blood. In my body. My stomach was hurting. I have headache. I'm in so much pain. And I did not have a good day I hope all of you can make me feel better.

At least the Bismarck's in-game AA is historically accurate. I don't mind Bismarck, personally I find the German BBs to be generally fun. But I get that "cursed ship" feeling so much. For me it's the North Carolina. I just have the worst games in that ship every single time. Some ships do be like that sometimes.

I named my German Shepherd Bismarck. Not a lot of people know the meaning of his name.
