Heading off to Europe, that’s so exciting! That was a really interesting video. Great photography, editing and a lovely choice of music for the soundtrack. Thanks as always for sharing your adventures.
Hi Sylvia we're very excited about the trip , it's been deferred previously so we are really keen to get going. Thanks for your kind words and for watching our channel so regularly . Kindest regards Helen and Martin
Great to see you both so excited for your Europe trip! A lovely tour of the cathedral and Canterbury. Another area I haven’t visited … yet! Safe travels, Sue 👍🏻
Thanks Sue , we have waited a long time for this trip we very excited. You would like Canterbury I am sure , a couple of people have told us there is a motorhome park up on the park ride centre which is apparently too. Thanks for watching best wishes Helen and Martin
Enjoyed seeing Canterbury. We went there many years ago and had a lovely weekend. The cathedral is amazing. Safe travels onward. Looking forward to watching.
Hi Jean , nice to hear from you. We love Cathedrals especially ones with a rich history. Canterbury is lovely both as a City and the Cathedral is the icing in the cake. Thanks for watching best wishes Helen and Martin
Sorry guys just realised that we haven't replied , not sure how we missed your comments. We loved Canterbury and loved the walk in from the CCC site , although people have told me that the park and ride centre allows over night parking to. Thanks for watching best wishes Helen and Martin
Roger you're very kind , we really enjoyed the Cathedral. We love to visit the Cathedrals and old Churches - they are rammed with stories that deserved to be retold we think. The Black Prince is even more interesting when you delve into the details of his past. Many thanks for watching best wishes Helen and Martin
Great video guys. Watched this last night. I've only lived in Canterbury for 50 years (well, Herne Bay actually but close enough). but you put a completely new 'spin' on it for me 🙂. Last time I went to the Cathederal was from school when I was about 13 and I'm 60 now! I must go again and you have inspired me. Also, the walk to Fordwich...Who knew! Had no idea you could get there from the campsite area ,or that part of it was the old Pilgrims way! I must pay more attention to where I live! We also holiday in Old Hunstanton quite often and you've shown us new ideas for that too! and helped us by showing how easy it was to get a dog to France. We went last month and watching you at Eurotunnel really helped! What a value for money channel you are :-). Keep up the good work, its much appreciated! p.s. Love the gadgets too!
Wow thanks very much what a great message to receive on a dull rainy day , we are delighted to think we have been helpful. Thanks very much for watching and for your kind comments once again , they've made our day. Best wishes Helen and Martin.
I live near Canterbury and the cathedral is a special place and .Its like going back in time. The stonework is full of graffiti from centuries past and the tomb of the black prince is 700 yrs old and still retains intricate detail and artwork. His original shield, helmet and gauntlet were on display the last time i was there.
It's a lovely City Edward it must be a pleasure to live there . We met some very nice people to. Thanks for watching and commenting. All the best Helen and Martin
Hi guys thanks for watching and commenting , we really enjoyed Canterbury and loved the fact that we could walk across country into the City. Best wishes Helen and Martin.
Great to see Canterbury again. We’ve enjoyed some lovely trips there. It amazes me how these huge monumental buildings were even built all of those years ago. We did the ghost walk through Canterbury too, which was fun but gave some insight into the city’s history. Thanks for sharing. ATB Helen & Dave
Glad you guys made it through the storms. I believe my Mum liked Canterbury (It’s times like this i which she were her to clarify). Loved the oldest English speaking Church, although it was slightly overshadowed by the Cathedral 😂 also very pleased to see you haven’t bowed down to Van Life Peer pressure and become Vegan 😂 Great Vlog, thanks for taking us with you 😊
No we won't be going vegan/veggie although a lot of it is tasty enough. We're to old to be trendy as we have just stunningly reminded ourselves M is 60 next year and so old enough to eat what he likes. I see burgers and pizza on the horizon 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching Helen and Martin.
Nice Vlog guys, H wants to go to Canterbury so I guess we’ll be going sometime (too many southerners for me) Poppy is quickly becoming the star…. Safe travels overseas!
Poppy loves the vanlife. We enjoyed the fact that we could walk to the City across country with Popps. We managed to get Poppy her Animal Health Certificate yesterday so she will be the star of next weeks VLOG. Thanks for watching best wishes Helen and Martin,
Your little dog is gorgeous. Really is a blustery day out there. Hope you’ve got your wellies for Europe. How do you retain all those facts Helen. Or are you reading them off camera. 🤔 I thought that was a real bee 🐝 on that information board. You go steady through that champagne region Helen. Are electric scooters allowed down there? ( 8:20 ) You not got any facts Martin? Apart from you’re not vegetarian. 😂😂😂 It’s an impressive building and some great architecture. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy Europe and stay safe. 👍🏻
She is gorgeous and loves the van. Good spot this we could walk to the city x-country from the site. H's memory recall is selective Ian 😂 , which is better than mine which in truth has diminished with age but as long as I can remember my way from the pub back to the van I'll cope. Great building loads of history , dogs allowed in the grounds but not in the gardens. Thanks fr watching mate best wishes Helen and Martin
Morning , we are going to explain the process next weekend in our VLOG. Hope it answers your questions if not give us a shout back and we'll try and help. Thanks for watching.
