10 yrs ago, when there was no Instagram and such. We arrived to Cappadocia at midnight. We were going for a camping trip so we just set the tent for the night. I woke up the most incredible sunrise... I didn't even know there was balloons, didn't had any idea what to expect. It was shocking and wonderfull..
@@rachael4512Hi Rachel, I live in Turkey and I knew about Cappadocia. But it was not our destination(we just had to stop cause was too late to drive.. bad planned trip) Anyway didn't resarch therefore didn't know there was balloons.
@gürkan mehmetoglou No. Not true. He really didn't sound arrogant. Haha let him love his country and be proud of it. He is just another blessed person earth with a beautiful country.
@gürkan mehmetoglou If he would said, Turkey is the best and the rest of the world can not compete, then yes. You would have been right. But he didn't say something along those lines. Haha try to be more positive bro 😁
I was blessed to visit Cappadocia last year. We went in the winter and were able to take a balloon over the snowcapped fairy gardens. Best sunrise ever. And yes the Turkish dumplings are to die for.

If we're still at the same point we are right now, DO IT! You might never get another opportunity to experience the 6th most visited country on earth free of crowds! I'm not a fan of Edorgan, but this is one thing I am grateful to him for.
I went there a couple years, did the air balloon ride, it was super awesome. I highly recommend taking a rental car and just driving all around. It’s a rural area with beautiful scenery all over and no people. One thing I have to add when talking about Turkey is that the people there are SUPER hospitable
@@ElhamA1 4 days would be enough to experience everything... Also, there is a canyon-like natural cover in Cappadocia that is not mentioned in the video, it is called "Ihlara Valley". It is quite big and the road is very long. It is completely visited on foot. There are high big rocks, many trees and green cover, a river flowing through the middle of the valley and churches belonging to ancient times. And to add, Cappadocia wine is extremely delicious. I think it's because it's made in the natural caves there.
Turkey is an amazing place with an amazing potential of glorious scenery all around it but somehow, that beauty can only be captured and distributed at this level by people who are not Turkish. So, we rely on tourists and awesome videographers like Christian to come and capture the breathtaking visuals this country holds. Reading the comments, it is evident how big of a role Christian has played in showing people how gorgeous Turkey actually is, regardless of how it may be portrayed in foreign media. So, as a native Turkish and a LONG TIME subscriber, thank you so so much Christian, we can't wait to host you again in our country!
Worth every dime! I felt like I was on a different planet. From the food to the warmth of the locals. This should be on everyone’s bucket list. Truly magical and I can’t wait to go back!
Literally the best country of the world. Imagine a country that have everything. Antalya, Marmaris, Bodrum for incredible beaches and touristic destinations, Istanbul is a living history and the capital of the world (my personal favorite), Cappadocia for amazing miracles, Black Sea for spectacular views and deep forests, Mardin for seeing the first footsteps of the humanity, Eastern parts for awesome food and local lifes. And of course perfect people. (Don’t forget to visit Northern Cyprus when you go) ❤️❤️🇹🇷
Wow! just wow!! 😮😮 Perfect mix of beautiful landscapes, humour, culture and positive vibes. Your channel is probably one of the best ever in that genre. Probably as I dont know all of them.
Yes it's worth it! Love the country, culture, food and the people are so warm i've been to Turkey a few times and every time I came back it always surprises me. Cappadocia is so dreamy
*This claim is unbeatable! Turkey is truly the most beautiful country in the world. It showcases the most inspiring cultural treasures and stunning scenery you won't find anywhere else in the world.* *Turkey's culture, history and cuisine are abundant. 81 provinces have their own local dishes, desserts and traditional dances. This makes Turkey a very popular tourist destination for people from all over the world. Turkey has a diverse landscape suitable for all types of travellers; There are snow-covered hills, plateaus, valleys, canyons, fairy chimneys, Kackar mountains, various endemic plant species and sparkling beaches. Not to mention beautiful cities like Istanbul, Antalya, Cappadocia and Rize. There are 84 UNESCO World Heritage sites throughout the country that showcase the best of Turkish history. 2 of the 7 wonders of the world are located in these lands. Turkey is a country that lives in 4 seasons. It is the country with the most climate and plant diversity because it is located on 3 continents and surrounded by seas on 3 sides. Both Tropical and Scandinavian climates occur. While there are 12,000 plant species in all of Europe, there are 9,000 plant species in Turkey alone. It is the 7th richest country in the world in terms of underground resources. The people are hospitable and friendly. It is the country that provides the most net and humanitarian aid. Too many things to count... What you love: “Turkey has everything! It's the most complete country on earth” Anatolia offers a unique blend of East and West. Turkey is truly the center of the world!* *Turkey is the first in the world in hazelnut, cherry, fig, apricot, quince and poppy production. second in the production of melon, watermelon, cherry, cucumber, carob, chickpea. mandarin, third in apple production. It ranks fourth in the production of pistachios, strawberries, chestnuts, walnuts and lentils* *Many of the best views are found in the Black Sea, such as the fairy chimneys and rock pillars of Cappadocia or the steep peaks and alpine meadows of the Kaçkar Mountains. In the Aegean region, Pamukkale's frozen waterfalls and stacked pools ensure that you will never be satisfied with your hotel's infinity pool again. The Turquoise Coast (or Turkish Riviera) is another prime destination, especially if excellent beaches, mountain views, and a Mediterranean climate are what you're looking for!*
LCA success is real guys. Despite making travel content for 4 years, just a few simple pointers from an experienced content creator have made a huge difference for me. I joined LCA 2 months ago, started a new channel (this one) a month ago to try some things that LCA taught, and I already have 12 k subs within the first month
I loved Cappadocia. I've been living in TUrkey for 3 months and love it. I also want to thank you for inspiring me to travel and start a youtube channel myself.
Hey ! As a Turkish citizen, I’ve seen lots of videos about Kapadokya and I’ve been there myself more than twice but I loved your visuals in the video ! Great work !!
Wow amazing location Cappadocia is one of the best location in the world in my opinion it should be eighth wonders of the world Nice video keep up the good work mate
the problem is most of the 7 wonders of the world are for human made objects which is stupid since earth itself is a wonder on its own. But yeah turkey has the most nominated places in the world and has 2 world wonders into it. It is a must visit place, you will love the muslim Azan (Call to prayer) 5 times a day it is breathtaking and wonderfull too.
I have been here many times, long before the balloons took over which, in my experience, are surplus to requirements. All you need to do is to wander. Kudos to the presenter for showing this wonderful place as it is. Do NOT miss it.
I was there 18 years ago and allways said it's the most magical place i ever saw, def worth the hype! Truth is you can't really capture how impressive it is on camera.
I've always wanted to visit Turkey. Glad I found this channel; felt like I was already traveling there even if I'm just in our living room😂 The shots are incredible!
Dude. Your videos have evolved so much over the years with a balance of relatable vlogger and incredible videographer. I think your channel is really the underrated one here. Keep it up 👍
@@lostleblanc Me too, me too. Not a lot to travel within the Netherlands... But hopefullt I get to go to Austria during Christmas like the last 24 years of my life (aka my entire life haha)
I was in Turkey just last week. It is a wonderful country to visit. Great cultural Mecca. The people are friendly, warm and beautiful. Food is delicious. Cappadocia at sunrise is a dream come true. A very peaceful ride in the hot air ballon. Worth to visit!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜
I was there a few months ago, I live in Turkey, istanbul. I went to Cappadocia for the first time. And it was incredible for me, my wife and I spent 4 dreamy days. I will go again... Love u Cappadocia
sometimes.I feel like Lost LeBlanc is too overrated but his contents, editting skills and history lessons are truly appreciated. Thank you for your great work !
During summer, your tour operator will pick you up before 5.30am for 6am sunrise. I was lucky enough to take the hot air balloon on my first morning, all hot air balloons were cancelled for the next 3 days due to high wind. According to local travel agency, there will be flights during the afternoon during winter as the wind is more stable. So, yes Cappadocia is worth it, the locals were so kind & friendly. Joint the Red or Green tour, hiking on the hills where wild oregano grows on the hills. I spend 4 days in Cappadocia, and still haven't seen everything around the area, the town Avalon is mostly where the locals live, it has a river & gondola, willow trees. BTW, I have never seen so many people involved in 1video (so commercialized), there reason I click on it is because of Cappadocia. One attraction most people missed is the Gulet cruise along the Turkish Rivera, sleeping on the deck to watch sunrise, sunset, hiking on ancient ruins, party at KOS bars until 2am. I actually don't wish mass tourism on their Rivera, so it's OK not many people know about it, to keep the beach crystal clear for many generations to enjoy.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Absolutely incredible place!😍 I have seen a lot of videos/pictures from there! After (hopefully) finishing school next year this place is one of those which I would love to visit!
This has been my ultimate bucketlist destination and I am facinated with hot air balloons since I was a child! Your videos keep getting better and better Christian! Sending warm hugs from the Philippines!
