Have you ever considered carpet tile, but had your doubts? We recently found this carpet tile for under $1 a square foot. So here’s a quick review on how it went and how we like it.
Carpet tiles are one of the best flooring methods out there for long lasting floors that are easily changeable and cleanable. They come in all colors, designs and thicknesses. The only problem with the ones you got, is that they are extremely flimsy and made cheaply compared to most carpet tiles. The glued down carpet tiles are the best ones out there due to their thickness and unlimited designs. I've recently installed a bunch of carpet tile at a friend's business that I made time-lapses of and uploaded to my channel. I really do love the look of carpet tile and like how they are easily changeable when needed. Considering the area you've laid those carpet tile, I'd say they will last longer than what they would in a higher traffic area. Had you laid those in a main hallway or entry way, they'd be done for within 2 years compared to regular glued down carpet tile that would last you 15 to 20 years.
Thanks for this comment. I’ll check out your video because we are looking at carpet tile for our sanctuary at church, but wanted to go with a higher quality that these, especially since it’s the most trafficked place in the church. Too bad you don’t live closer to us. Lol Any suggestions on an affordable, higher quality tile?
@@TheTrentTribe For whatever reason, my replies keep getting deleted. I replied two times with long messages and both times the replies got deleted. It's either RU-vid's garbage censorship doing this or it's certain key words that you set up to be blacklisted on your channel that causes my comments to vanish, but either way, contact me on my channel for a proper discussion about flooring if you wish.
@@RealKansasMan I’m not sure what it is. I’ll touch base with you. Meantime, we have tons of friends in Hutch. Looks like that’s where you’re from or close to there. We’ve been there a bunch of times.
We don’t remember the brand. It was the least expensive Home Depot had to offer at the time we bought it. It’s held up good considering it’s a peel and stick.
So far so good. But this isn’t in a high traffic area, so not sure how it would do in that. But, we did put some just like it in the church toddler room and it’s doing good. For the price, it’s a good deal.
