Is Celebration Florida A Good Place to Live? 

The one thing I would change...Restore/Return the movie theater to its' former glory. Many say it was closed due to "lack of available parking", but if the residents actually supported the place, there would be no need for visitor parking. Maybe bring it back as a movie/draft house with good food. It was such a prominent fixture downtown, and there are enough creative people available to make this happen, so I see no reason for it to not be a cinematic focal-point once again.

We visit friends there every year and they LOVE it.... but I agree with some of the comments. They do need to leave the development to do different things like going to a movie, etc. During high tourist season traffic is heavy but during off season it gets better. I would love to see some smaller houses built in Celebration... most are HUGE and super expensive and the more inexpensive options are more like condos. We have a dog and would rather have a ranch style home with our own yard in the back.

We live in Lake Nona and I feel all of these “Master Planned Communities” are missing 1 key thing, things to do aside from shopping and eating. Movie theaters, arcades, bowling alley, comedy club, etc within walking distance or within the community. Something to do on a Saturday or weekday after work that you don’t have to drive to, you can leave your house and walk over with the kids or just by yourself and have some fun. I love a good meal as much as anyone lol but we are saturated with restaurants and strip mall shopping; give us something to do within the community so we don’t have to drive Downtown or Winter Park/Garden.

I just subscribed. Thank you. Looking for a smallish place to stay in at the Orlando area with a low hoa and a patio to drink coffee in the morning and have a potted Orange Tree. I own in Las Vegas for my residence, and Salt Lake for my winter amusement. Downtown Salt Lake, where I have my condo, is excellent. But, I need Disney, no kidding. LV is close enough to SoCal to enjoy Knotts and Disney. Loads of Michael Graves designed places in historic Celebration. Love the community. It appears downtown LA and Disney Springs have an Edison.

@8:07 This guy is right and it has been invented. Arcimoto is making these types of vehicles. The City of Orlando is already testing them out. I expect the company ($FUV) to do wonders for my stock portfolio (not financial advice 😀).
