Si querés ir al Cerro Chapelco, tenés que alojarte en San Martín de los Ándes. Si querés ir a Cerro Catedral, tenés opciones en el cerro o en cualquier parte de Bariloche (San Carlos de Bariloche). Y para Cerro Bayo en Villa La Angostura. Al margen de estos, tenés Cerro Castor en Usuahia, y muchos otras opciones como Caviahue, Las Leñas en Mendoza, o las Laderas en el Bolsón - por ej. -.

Tomaste el camino viejo, hay otro camino de ruta asfalto y solo 4 km de tierra, tenés que seguir la ruta camino. A villa la angostura y ahí agarran un camino desvío de tierra que te lleva directo, es mejor y más seguro x si hay nieve, saludos buen video
Congrats for the content. It's very hard to find good videos about south american ski resorts like yours! I really think you should try Cerro Castor, in Ushuaia. There is my favorite spot in Argentina, specially when you combo the skiing with the staying at the Arakur Hotel - an amazing luxury experience!

Only learned about Castor this year when looking for a new place to visit. But Chile is much cheaper to get to right now, so I'm heading to Valle Nevado and La Parva. I was excited about going to Castor, so the fact that it's your favorite is a further endorsement! Will definitely check it out the next time in Argentina!

Hey! Amazing videos! Thanks!! I'm planning our 10yr anniversary trip for next year, our first time skiing. Would it be more cost effective to choose a French Clubmed all inclusive instead? A nice accommodation is starting u$ 500/day in Chapelco or Catedral, right?
Thanks and congratulations! I'm betting that the Clubmed all inclusive might end up being more cost effective. You could get costs down at Catedral or Chapelco if you stay in Bariloche or San Martin de los Andes (there should be some hotels or apartment rentals for less than USD$500/day there) and take a bus to the mountain. But whether you want to wait for the bus on your 10 year anniversary is another thing! I think it's definitely possible to get the cost down, but it'll take some searching for sure, so the question is how much effort you want to spend vs. just going with the all-inclusive.
Pero no tiene sentido!!!. Lo que debería hacer quien quiera ir a Chapelco, es hospedarse en San Martín de los Ándes. En todo caso, desde el Cerro Catedral en San Carlos de Bariloche, la mejor opción es Cerro Bayo en Villa La Angostura, no el Cerro Chapelco.
Sí, estuvimos 3 días en San Martín de los Andes cuando estábamos esquiando en el Cerro Chapelco. No manejaríamos todos los días desde Bariloche, ¡jaja! Definitivamente me encantaría volver y visitar Cerro Bayo.
I stayed at a hostel that was up on a mountain. Great place, but I think I'd stay at a hotel in San Martin de los Andes if I went back. I don't remember the hotels coming up when searching sites like booking.com, but they're definitely there. They're close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Quick drive to hiking too.

@@mattadeyutube I do recall there being busses, but we had a car, so I didn't look into frequency or routes. But if they have a route between the resort and town, pay attention to where your accommodations are because the town is a decent size and you might end up walking far to the bus stop!
Definitely looks better in the video than in person, but either way, we had never seen an approach to a major ski resort that involved a dirt road with potholes! Not to mention animals.
