chapter two had some of the best seasons, and some of the worst seasons. However, it had the time period which I believe to be ‘prime’ Fortnite. To be honest prime Fortnite was seasons 2-4 in chapter two in my opinion. It’s because of the weapons and mythic bosses and it still had that classic Fortnite vibe
@@thedoggobandit799 when we already could do it ch2S7/8 with the chimera bp skin. Even today you can customize it any way. Its basically as simple as chosing a skins variant. so wtf did epic did us so dirty? sometimes it feels like nobody there uses logic. They ousted donald mustard, story of the 7, ancients, unseen, nothing, geno etc is gone. And even small stuff like this. No wonder majority of players are in ranked reload builds!!!!
@ancientslav4863 Well yes and no. You still had to unlock the parts and styles for him, if you didn't unlock them in s7, then you can never get those parts again. Same for every other similar item, toona fish, the pickaxe, etc
Chapter 2 definitely had the best content. It introduced cars, bosses, vaults, mythic guns, swimming, the gold system, npcs, bounty boards, crafting, sidegrading, fishing, animals, helicopters, boats, spy bases, and overall just a better storyline and better live events.
Chapter 1 had the best content, avengers infinity ltm, avengers endgame ltm, ballers, introduced rocket riding, guided launcher and so much more that I can’t count. Live events go to chapter 1 easily, the first rocket event, butterfly event, volcano event, monster vs mech, the finale rocket event. All those scale above chapter 2
@@AstralKEK the fact that you think chapter 1 had better events than chapter 2 did shows that your blinded by nostalgia and don’t follow the storyline. If you think that a cube falling into a lake is better than fighting Galactus with battlebusses then there’s something wrong with you. None of that content you listed is better than what we got in chapter 2. Chapter 2 introduced game changing mechanics, chapter 1 was just the start of Fortnite, introducing things that every battle royale needs
Personally I simply didn't like Chapter 2 as much as Chapter 1 and 3, a lot of locations were pretty good like Steamy Stacks, Dusty Docks, Misty Meadows, Craggy Cliffs, Slurpy Swamp, and Weeping woods, but overall I think Chaoter 2 started off strong and got better until it went downhill and nosedived, Though I liked seasons 7 and 8, Though I will say I do believe Season 2 was good, but very overrated, I think season 3 was a bit better, If you want my opinion on the seasons here they are: 1: A strong yet boring new start 6.7/10 2: Strong, good content, a tad overrated 9/10 3: unique yet interesting, 9/10 4: I thought it was good don't get me wrong, but I didn't really like playing it much 7/10 5: I didn't like it very much 5/10 6: NO GET AWAY 2/10 7: this one was pretty good 8.3/10 8: I actually kinda liked it 7.5/10 Overall rating: around a 7/10 Pros: Numerous different themes and unique gameplay additions like gold, henchmen, Shakedowns, Swimming, etc. Cons: Inconsistent quality, map changes weren't really that good, loot pool didn't feel like it was thought through most times
@ARHAANTALWAAR I never said anything about his score being wrong. I just said that he never deducted a point because he thought it was overrated. He said he liked season 3 more and ranked that a 9 too so that isn't the reason.
As someone who joined at chapter 5 but played a bit of chapter 2, without what I remembered I think it was because it focused more on story and adding all new, ground breaking things that were so cool for players coming out of chapter one. My brother didn’t like the game bc it was a gun game so he told me not to play it but even I watched some of the live events, so I thought it was the best chapter.
Ch4 had absolute boredom. Ch5 has worst graphics, pois, bioms, inconsistent map, ugly map. The last good chapter was 3, when Donald mustard still worked at epic. The best feeling atmosphere when solo (the excitement of being in solo), graphics, map etc was Ch1. Ch2 was Ch1 made different. The one thing ch2 missed a lot were the hills of Ch1. Ch3 still stuck to roots, good. But Ch4 brought all new pois and it was shit. Not memorable at all. Maybe only mega city.
I wouldn't say ch3 is good. It had 2 good seasons out of 4, 3rd season had a boring summer event with not much content, season 4 had the worst fortnitemares ever and the evochrome weapons sucked, the story made no sense, the chapter finale was a creative map
@@SpeezieBoi yes. Mostly I'm talking about the map. Ch3 map was better than anything after it. Ch3s3 vibin was the last season Donald mustard worked at epic. Actually, the internal chaos was the result of vibin being shit. Donald mustard said that during vibin, it was his farewell. He brought Darth Vader into game cause it was his deep wish. And it was totally out of place. Just like Indiana Jones, a forgotten skin. But he wanted it. Ch4 had nice graphics, yet ch2 has the best. Ch2 is a mix of Ch1 and Ch4 graphics. What makes the best season? What makes a good one? Which one was the best? Who knows. All i see is most people play ranked reload and ch4s4 OG was a success t that nobody foresaw. Epic aren't as blind as they are incompetent. They see the numbers. If theyd think 1 month OG is enough, theyd mistaken. If ch6 continues in the footsteps of ch5, br is kinda done. Reload will overshadow it even more. Car season, jetpack teleporting, 3x gauntlet meta, no sniper rifles, totally off biom connection...yeah. BR will be done. Only new players will stay.
How could you forget SPY GAMES 😭 that mode was so good and the winning music is actually insane. You could roll your loadout and abilites then capture intel for your side. Also in nexus war (the marvel season) we got marvel knockout, which i think was really fun fighting in a small arena with the new hero mythics. Also fortnitemares had its own thing where you turned into a ghost when you died and could also get a win as a ghost so yeah.
I think Chapter 2 is a mixed bag, but I wish I had played it way more. Season 8 was awesome, I was so hyped for Carnage. And its really sad that the final Season 6 that we have had in Fortnite is Primal, ew.
Season 7 was Fun. There was another space weapon that wasn't mentioned. It acted like a fizz gun from Gmod and it broke the game for a while. You could carry a gas can and standing on I and lifting yourself allowed you to fly infinitely. UFO were broken too. But bro... Deadass... The cow ball item was the FUN Item in the game. You bounce around and can gain insane speed. Also Space cubes, we also got imposters during this season which was Really fun but got deleted a few seasons later. Season 8 was somewhat a season to say goodbye to Kevin. Since Kevin has never returned or been story relevant. (Og Season had Kevin but it wasn't important). This season was pretty mid. You didn't miss much. It had some good LTMs but it was kinda boring. If we do get a Third Og season I hope we get C2 Seasons 7-8 then we go through the map flipping again then go through C3 Seasons 1-2.
my personal favorite season is c2 s3 just due to the water, mythics, and one of the least comp seasons which made it fun for my old self who was horrible.
Chapter 2 Season 1 and Season 2 made half the players quit Fortnite.... whoever stayed was the other half and new players that started playing in Chapter 2..
I played a little bit of C1, but I mostly started at the very beginning of C2, where I met my main squad I still play with today, so many amazing memories, so many fun times, back when epic actually cared about what was cool for the storyline and what was fun, back when we got the best live events in the game, not like how it is nowdays, a mid live event every year, constantly nerfing anything fun because competitive players can't adapt, and only giving us shitty storyline through quest you can't even read because you're being shot at, I really hope they don't fuck it up like they did with the OG rewind (Also C2 S7 was honestly just as good as C2 S2 & S4, it was peak because we got so many fun items, really cool storyline, so many unique things and it was just over all really good, also hot take but the way battle stars worked back then were peak, it's ass now, but back then you could actually grind for a skin you really wanted instead of busting your ass for a mid spray or emoticon or having to get to level 80 just for a skin)
I started in chap 2 season 2, when i started watching fortnite content every one was crying about SBMM and all the big streamers were quitting saying the game was to sweaty and i think chap 2 gets a lot of hate because of that

in my opinion not better than chapter 1, but some of the best seasons of all time like chapter 2 season 4, 7, and of course, the best season ever chapter 2 season 2

Primal is so overhated. Most people I know who play right now look back at primal with fondness and I do as well. Also the fact that you say Lara Croft was the best skin shows what kind of player you are.

Season 4 best season Season 5 mid season Season 6 primal Terrible season Season 7 fun season aliens were cool Season 8 terrible season. Chapter 2 only had 3 s tier seasons. (4 if you liked the underwater season)
