I agree. The best part? He can still go in the ring. I've been a little bit tired of guys like Matt Hardy tarnishing his legacy by turning in subpar performances because he can't admit to himself that it's time to hang it up.

This is why I always laugh when people talk about "so and so not being used right". Since christian came to AEW he's held titles, had banger matches up and down north and central America, main evented a huge all time PPV (all out 2021), and is now one of the hottest heels in the company. Did it ever feel like any of it was being forced? Not everybody can be in the main event and not every main eventer will be in it every time.

True!!! Nobody has been able to pull heat like that since the late and great MJF from so many decades ago!!! On a serious note though, I will give MJF a lot of credit. Pretty much every time you see him in any video, he is always keeping the character going. It's like he's thinking bigger than just AEW and is trying to pull heat from the entire world lmao.

I loved that opening line where he said "I am the Cage that everybody is talking about" which is a obvious subtle jab at guys like Brian Cage lol. Christian is fantastic as a heel, and I'm honestly glad they turned Luchasaurus as well because a big athletic guy like him has all the potential to be a MONSTER heel if done right. One thing I will say, is AEW has gotten it wrong with Lance Archer because they haven't made him out to be the monster he is, and the same could be said for Keith Lee, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Luchasaurus so I hope they get Luchasaurus right now that he's a heel.

Christian really is an instant classic. I think a lot of us forget how well he can play to a crowed and everyone in it while at the same time pulling off main event energy. Everything from the turtle neck to the realism in his insults and of course timing gets better and better.
