I know Rhea is meant to be the babyface here. But her not taking ANY responsibility for starting this beef with Liv by betraying and injuring her. And acting like Liv has no valid reason to hate her, is not exactly making her the most likeable character right now. Finn almost HAS to turn at Summerslam. They’ve set it up too much for it not to happen.
The Liv clip where she's burning is currently the most watched clip from Raw this week. Although I suspect about half the people that watched it were hoping to see those shorts again
I really want these guys to go back and actually watch the Nicky Cross VHS again because they are absolutely missing the whole point of it. It shows her in costume giggling and laughing as she is told that they all lied and ignored her. They then show her out of costume, saying the same things and she is crying and then screams. It ABSOLUTLY tells you why she is there.
There were better ways for them to get that story beat across, not least her having a promo with her explaining that. Yknow, the exact thing that bo a Eric had, and the thing they are asking for. If the storytelling is being missed by people, it wasn't good storytelling
It's amazing how Punk seems to bring out the best in people. Seth and Drew have really benefited from this program. I mean when you really think about it even in AEW Punk had the most memorable feuds.
@@basimmicheal4371 drew will basically be buried and i'm 100% sure , big nose has no plans for him , he deserves to be the world champion after everything he's done.
@@user-pk6dc5sv9c he will win the match and he will go automatically for the world title of damien priest . then punk vs seth will be the next feud for punk i believe
When someone wrote in and asked about black wrestlers not getting strong booking - the guy on the right was like “I’m not sure if this is the forum to have this discussion” - but every week he whines about women representation and constantly takes up for all things women. Like ok we get it - you’re a girl’s girl.
I was really irritated with a lot of things that happened on Raw. But my main isssue was the wyatt sicks not being on Sumerslam. Just gives the fans the impression, they’re not big time. Imagine they said the blood line was going to be on Raw instead of a ppv. I love the wyatts but let them talk in the vhs’s. I want to know why they’re there. Not just to get them to scream in a camera. Like I loved the Rowan one. Just wished they’d give them time so they could introduce the characters properly
Punk talks to the crowd like they're crowds from 15 years ago. He doesn't really seem to get the cadence that modern fans are used to. He speaks like he's talking over people who are all chatting and screaming over each other who are just desperately waiting to scream and chant when he stops talking for a second. Modern fans are waiting for you to finish your monologuing. He stops talking thinking that the crowd are desperate to cheer or boo but really the crowd is like "why'd you stop talking we're still listening to you"
Love listening to Luke missing the point of a storyline, Dan explaining it to him for 5 minutes, and Luke still just refusing to acknowledge that he isn't the smartest man to ever watch wrestling no matter how badly he wants to be.
I feel obligated to point out that a couple of weeks ago Liv said that her chasing Dom started as a way to get at Rhea, but she fell in love with him in the process. I don't know if I like that that is the story that they're telling, but it *is* the story that they're telling.
I'm really hoping it's a ruse. If not they're going in the wrong direction and that's sad. There's so much nuance that I'm reading too much into in this story that is waay more interesting than Liv being scorned.
The last time Punk, Drew and Seth were together was just before mania bc it was teased the punk would be the referee but ended up doing commentary thus starting this whole cycle of screwing drew
This was probably my least favourite Raw in some time. Ive really enjoyed the Punk/Drew feud, but this was definitely an off night for Punk. With Summerslam coming up it was a very disappointing show. I’m here for babyface Damage CTRL though.
It was hardly dead. Dead would be zero reaction to Punk when he came out there would be no Punk chants. It was definitely not as active as other places, I will give you that.
They handicapped the feud because “neither guy can lay a finger on any other participant” so the fans know that no action is going to break out anyway. They kind of tuned out.
I WAS excited for Punk v Drew but having Freddy Mercury as a ref ruined what could of been match of the year. Of he came out with a ref striped strap-on on his head I wouldn't be suprised and I don't think that the stain he leaves on this match is worth what they are trying to get over.
Why are we describing Bron Breakker as “cute”? That’s over the top effeminate. Is this coding or are you trying to communicate that you’re “totally not a toxic male” in an indirect way?
