IS COMFORT THE MOLE? - SUMMARY OF ALL HINTS - ENGLISH - DE MOL 2023 - MOL SEASON 23 - DE MOL BELGIE 

I was going to post a long play-by-play of each episode like on Toos' video, but honestly I think windfalls covered most of it very well. I kinda wanted to touch on a few random things instead. 1. I think it would be hilarious to see hidden hints if Comfort's the mole. Usually profession comes into play with the hidden hints (lots of religious imagery in...previous seasons, for example). How hilarious would it be to see hidden hints from our resident gynecologist? 2. But actually serious, I think the greatest hidden hint to Comfort would have to do with acting. Like they make a big deal in episode 2 about how the mole must be able to act well, even when they know something is coming. Then later Comfort gets the red screen, and she also has to act like she's on the stunt plane in episode 5. But holy cannoli, if she's the mole she can act her butt off! Give her the Oscar NOW! 3. I'm very curious about her red screen in general. What I find immensely interesting is that Leila goes home that episode, followed by Lieselot. The two willing to help save her get eliminated one after the other. Definitely possible that she was playing on their emotions to look sympathetic, only to ruthlessly stab them in the back. What a hell of a sabotage if she's the mole. 4. For all my assertions that she's not the mole, Comfort is still the bottom of the leaderboard in Follow the Money, and that ought to count for something. 5. I can imagine a scenario where she knows Toos is onto her as mole, so she puts herself on a team with Ruben in the Speed Challenge. She gives the correct answer after Ruben gives the wrong one. Toos knows she's the mole and that Ruben's not, so a bit of reverse psychology here. Even more interesting is how Thomas wants to go with Comfort's answer, making it seem like he really trusts her. Who goes home that episode? Thomas. 6. I don't think Comfort's the mole. I'm more curious about who she thinks is the mole. After the DeLorean, she's at the supermarket with both Toos and Lancelot, with Toos at the airplanes, with Lance at the school, everyone at the diner, Ruben at the FBI office, Toos making postcards, and everyone in the saloon. She spends a lot more time with Toos, which really makes me wonder. This season will be FASCINATING to see behind the scenes, because if Lancelot is the mole, it really feels like she and Toos actively avoided him in the second half of the season, which is the CRAZIEST strategy I've ever seen.

I think so.

Reasons why Comfort could possibly be the mole: -In episode 1, she has the key position in the slackline assignment, and loses the money. In the caravan assignment, she does not find the key inside the clock even though she is examining the clock closely. -In episode 2, she has some suspicious behavior on the train; she helps to talk the group out of going with Lieselot’s (correct) answer to one of the riddles, she gives a misleading description of the bronze deer to Thomas’s group, and her throw is not good. -In episode 3, she makes several mistakes during the horseshoe assignment; she encourages the incorrect “Jolly Jumping” pair, she reaches down and touches the fallen horseshoe, and she gets caught by the cowboy and removed from the game. During the egg assignment, her red egg breaks during the Jeep ride. Thomas’s red egg also breaks, and Comfort, who was sitting next to him, had easy access to the eggs on his back. -In episode 4, Comfort is part of the underground team in the bunker assignment, which is the better location for the mole. She is a part of the zoo group during the second assignment, and they answer multiple questions incorrectly, thus not giving much help to the bingo group. -The Red Screen/auto assignment: If Comfort is the mole, this would be a good way to take some money out of the pot, and also remove some suspicion from herself. The fact that she couldn’t guess any photos correctly was weird. Even I managed to guess 2 of them correctly (Thomas and Ruben) and I’m really not good at that sort of thing. And...did she seriously guess letter C for all of them? What kind of strategy is that? -In episode 5, Comfort was the only candidate in the grocery store who let her robot’s battery completely die. Then, she distracted Toos and his partner while trying to find her robot. -In episode 6, she had an important position in the school assignment. She gave some wrong information for sure, and, as Julie pointed out, if she was not pressing down the button consistently while she was speaking, this could have had a big impact on the assignment as well. In the bus assignment, she and Ruben chose the wrong tool, and had to go all the way back to the office to retrieve the correct tool before they could try to figure out what color wire to cut. Minutes are important, because if the bus runs out of gas, the assignment fails. -In episode 7, Comfort’s counting causes the second photo to fail. In the shootout, she fails to fire her gun correctly (even though it looks like she pulled the trigger), and the group wins 1000 euros instead of 3000. Possible anti-mole actions from Comfort: -In episode 1, she does a good job with the snake-carrying task, and she encourages Matteo to try to contact the other team via the portophone while she is carrying the snake. -In episode 2, she solves the first riddle on the train. Then, she runs 4 kilometers (more than anyone else) and still finishes within the time limit. -In episode 4, she gives Toos and Thomas her code in the bunker. And her reaction to the red screen seems genuine. -In episode 5, she does a good job describing the plane’s movement to Lieselot, and Lieselot is able to watch the correct film clip. -In episode 6, she passed on the fun fact to Lancelot in the school, and she got the color of the wire correct on the bus. -In episode 7, Comfort and Toos did a good job overall with the photos. Comfort also correctly identified Ruben as the worst-performing candidate in both rounds of the shout-out game. Ugh, sorry today’s comment isn’t up to my usual standard. My brain is not letting me do Mole analysis right now, lol. I think I’m going to need to rest up for the Lancelot video!
