Is Criminality REALLY Worth Playing?

I think there’s a difference with the question “Is it worth playing” if you’re going to be playing the game solo or if you’re gonna be playing it with friends. If you’re playing the game solo especially as a new player you’re probably gonna want to not play the game anymore after a while of playing because you’ll most likely just be constantly killed, especially with all of the gangs in the game. It’s a bit more enjoyable if you’re relatively good at the game but still can be a struggle. But if you start playing the game with friends it can be a lot funner than just going into the game solo, the reason I even got into crim was because I was always just messing around in crim with my friends, and it eventually got me into even playing solo. I can still play solo but still don’t find it as enjoyable as playing it with friends, and you’re not really obligated to follow the “kill people and gain xp” rule as much aswell, at least in my experience. The community is a little overhated aswell, i’ve met a lot of nice people through this community and I think people don’t realize that it’s not just toxic people in the community.

Criminality downsides are: Because there's no real competitor, crim has no "we need to offer something better" thing

Havoc and Blackout giving Criminality a run for its money is amazing because it either means that Criminality has to listen to what its players, especially veterans and ones who have quit have to say, or get completely steamrolled by a new generation of street shooters.

honestly outshined by so many other games now, but back then it was SOMEWHAT fun

I've been playing this game since 2021. In my opinion the community has a higher level of toxicity than it did back then. My reasoning is that this game was pay-2-play back then, making it a closed community. When RVVZ made the game f2p, This allowed for all different types of people to flow into the game until it eventually reached "that" crowd. While it was still paid access, there definitely WAS a lot of beef in the community but at the same time the game had more soul and melees were the meta at the time. Back then, if you had decent reaction time and/or had prior melee combat experience, then you were set. That doesn't mean that guns weren't used as frequently, if you had the money to afford it you could buy yourself an M4 at the steep price of $4,500 or an AKS-74u for $3,750. Now guns are a LOT more cheaper and more affordable now that you don't drop a good chunk of your cash upon death. This is why being solo in Criminality is harder because instead of running away from some gang who have a bunch of melees, you're dealing with gangs who are kitted up with AK's, M4's and pistols such as the Deagle or Magnum who can just shoot you from across the map because one of them has their screen resolution set to 144p playing on stretch res. Another annoying part of the community is that there are literal newgens who joined after paid access and rose to over level 100. That is fucking insane. I've been in the community longer and I'm only level 77. This is what I mean by when the game reached "that" crowd. It's motherfuckers who play the game like they'll die if they stop that ruin it. Imagine waking up every morning and thinking "Hmm, today I will go on a mass killing spree on Criminality (ROBLOX)." I play Criminality on occasion now as I moved onto other games such as GMOD and RDR2. Verdict? The game isn't worth playing unless you've got teammates who can cover your back.

Criminality is worth playing ONLY if you are a fully new player. If you play since 1.2 like me you understand why this game feels dry even with new updates.

For those who play solo unless you are really into the game and wanna try just don't do it. Its a waste of your time and by the time you get to standard f2p your done with all the killing and repetetivnes of the game. If you just buy PRIME you are done for, the recoil is abnormal compared to other games so you have to get used to it and your gear is nothing compared to rank 100s going around with AKs and annihilating everyone. and your just going to get repeatedly killed by high ranks so I suggest learning things in casual(leading back to my first complaint about the game). In my opinion on the front cover this game was interesting but unless your ready to spend hours on end and months till you can hold your own in combat and have good instinct and aim its really not worth it. Also new games like blackout and Havoc are coming so just go play those.

im in crim community for over 3 years, if you count public dev server and i gotta say, in the earliest days of crim in pds were toxic too but way less than current one. id say crim was at its peak during pre beta, 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. after 1.3 its just began to fall for one of the obvious reasons, balance and community getting worse. id say 1.1 or 1.2 started the toxicity to grow cant decide but probably 1.1

I've been playing since December 2020, and I've got to say, no, it's not worth playing. At least not anymore in it's current state, and for damn sure not solo either. Peak Criminality was around 1.1-1.2. After 1.3 came out, the game started going downhill and became extremely stale. All of my friends from 1.1 and 1.2 quit after 1.3, leaving just me to solo, which is no fun at all. And it's hard to make friends due to everyone being toxic and sweaty now.

Honestly Great Video really loved the style of this video. imo unless you are really into games like da hood, the streets, and those types of games. i dont really think crim is worth playing at all. its stale, repetitive, very toxic, and overall is just a terrible place to play ESPEICALLY if ur a "newgen".

You forgot to talk about the major aspect of combat; Everyone that is insanely good with managing recoil it's because of the FPS performance, and while it isn't something entirely biased it locks away much of the difficulty the game could offer to the rest of the playerbase being that Roblox is a platform with free games, Crim being one of them, accquiring a certain amount of people from a background where they can't afford a good PC/Device to counter their lack of "Gunplay" by just downloading an FPS Unlocker. I have seen people capable of streaming guys from accross the map, and you can't tell if they are either Hacking or just have an FPS Unlocker.

ngl i dont really know why but the melees now feel less slick and "fast" but in 1.2 it felt slick and fast, anyone else notice this??

Ive tried playing with friends and its really different

Playing solo is hell because you get third partied or get fucked by a group of people or a gang but playing with friend can be fun, the RCU event was the time that the devs actually cared for the game.

For mobile: Mobile casual( casual but on mobile only) casual (self explanatory) brawl (lv3 unlock) and normal (lv 15 unlock)

Criminality worth playing? Really not actually. People would argue that you find a gang ofc but the thing is that its hard when everyone is against you and before you could say anything they kill you. Also, we are trying to play a game alone to kill time sometimes and crim isn’t the case. You cannot play it without stumbling across some crazed red neck with a shovel trying to carve you like a watermelon every 3 seconds.

If you're a new player to Criminality be aware that although their staff team, although they are very good at their jobs and effective at what they do are also very biased. So, if like me, you become banned on an account for exploiting or any other reason you will most likely not get your account unbanned even if you open a appeal ticket in their support server, for whatever reason or maybe they are instructed to the Criminality staff team will not actually assist you with your appeal and instead just close it. Note that I enjoy Criminality and believe that it is a well made game however once the staff team have made up their mind that you're breaking the rules they are not going to or will rarely change their opinion based off the one-sided 'evidence' provided to them.

Criminality is a much more toxic and unfun experience compared to other streets games.😊
