No he's basically Tony Romo. Some wow plays here and there, beats on bad teams, and chokes in the playoffs. It's like Jerry lived through Romo's era and said, "I'll have another"

Romo never had the talent that Dak had. O line was constantly a mess and Defense was never great
@JustusSeiber
@JustusSeiber 6 часов назад
If they never win a playoff game it isn’t “choking” it’s just what they are. The fact they made it to the divisional round the year before last was a miracle with as bad as their run game and only having ceedee and they’d traded away Amari.

@@JustusSeibertwo years ago the defense was elite. They brough as much physicality to the 49ers and the 9ers bring to just about anyone. The difference in that game is Purdy would throw the ball away, Dak threw two picks. Daks problem is Dak can have good flashes, but he can also believe he can do more and he wants to be “the guy” Him having his own photo of himself on his phone, his contract talks being about “getting his respect” via being highest paid is all 100% ego
@JustusSeiber
@JustusSeiber 3 часа назад
@@dayneamyx293 that defense wasn’t elite. They played good against SF and aside from that they never played well against good teams with a run game. It was a front running defense and Dallas roster was not even close to being as talented as theirs. Dallas got stomped by the Commanders before the playoffs, and lost to the Jags. that game alone made everyone believe Trevor Lawrence was good enough for a $200mil contract.

Jay had more talent in his right arm than Dak does in his entire body. One just didn’t give a damn what so ever and just played ball for a check and the other loves ball and just can’t get to the next level. As a packers fan I loved smoking Jay lol

Most of jays talent was in his right arm

No, Jay Cutler had a way better arm. Cutler was disappointing because he never lived up to his incredible potential... he was just an adequate to pretty good generational QB like Vinny Testaverde or Trent Green.
@bbabins45
@bbabins45 20 часов назад
I think they're entirely different. Cutler had crazy arm talent, but could never put the mental part of the game together and didn't elevate those around him. Dak has really good mental part of the game, works with league average arm talent, and also struggles to elevate those around him

We are now having Dak & Jay Cutler conversations while last year Ravens fans had to endure a season’s worth of Dak vs Lamar arguments. How vindicating
@prod.snqwfall1347
@prod.snqwfall1347 16 часов назад
And the only reason Dak was in that race at the end tbh was because the Eagles turned into the Hue Jackson Browns last November. It should have always been a Lamar/CMC debate

If Dak played for someone like Tennessee he'd be seen differently by the media. We'd have loved him here over what we've had since 2016.

Only person I'd compare to Cutler would have been Jeff George. Dak I'd compare to Marino. Hear me out, he is no where near Marino as far as talent but both them were great regular season quarterbacks that did nothing in playoffs.

The defense is a sieve and DAL has shown no ability to run the football but you’re still going to pretend this is a Dak problem? He’s instantly playing from behind and defenses do not have to respect the run. Edge rushers smell blood regardless of down and distance. This is an O-line/RB/Defense issue, so you can also call it a coaching/general manager/owner problem if you want ultimate accountability to be placed somewhere.

The problem is it is a Dak problem. Dak is getting elite money. He has a $55m cap hit, second only to Deshaun Watson. You have to have been blind to see that Dak has had great talent around him, yet would struggle the second he didnt have elite talent at just one phase. When zeke was suspended, Dak struggled. When Tyron Smith would miss a game for injury, Dak struggled. When Dez left, Dak struggled. If the defense has an off game, Dak and the offense would struggle. Dak has always needed great talent around him, and unfortunately due to his second contract coming to fruition and his third contract being larger, he is the first guy whos cap hit is big in the first year of an extension, and he is hurting the cowboys cap space, and the cowboys didnt do a great job with their draft picks and surrounding him with good cheap talent. So here we are. Dak is a large cap suck, couple average O-line players, no running game, and elite WR, and a couple injured defensive players and its obvious the team has no depth, and Dak isnt good enough to be like “ i can carry this”
@calvinware7957
@calvinware7957 13 часов назад
Ive said for years: Dak is a black andy dalton. Talented enough to manage a game at NFL levels especially if hes got offensive talent around him. He doesnt elevate the play of the team

Dak would have gotten one of those Bear teams to a Super Bowl. Cutler also had a crush on Rodgers. Dak wouldn't go that low.

Exactly. 7th-12th best QBs are so interchangeable and are only going on deep runs when their teams are boosted by rookie discount deals.

Jay Cutler is a horrendous leader of people. Dak is actual a good leader…likeable…strong…He lacks top end physical traits. Cutler is a loser…weak of mind and body. Maybe I’m overstating a little, but to me this question insults Prescott.

Stefanski has to share SOME of the blame for the Browns situation, regardless if he's being forced to start Deshaun. They look undisciplined and checked out half the time, and that's a coaching issue.
@holstorrsceadus1990
@holstorrsceadus1990 18 часов назад
Or a personnel issue. As in the management is making the coach start QB who gives them no chance to win so why not check out and skip risking injury for nothing.
