Consistency is the king. I have done a bachelor's in Commerce and worked as an accountant Later I lost interest in those fields and looked into data analyst career. It is very hard to get into this field from any background Unless you have some experience. I kept learning and kept applying , faced a tonnes of rejections (literally) changed different strategies in applying and finally made it. So keep on studying and make some practical knowledge by doing many projects. You will definitely become a data analyst.

If you ask me I would say Focus on Power BI as it has a better future compared to Tableau. Python you can learn as an additional skill but many data analyst jobs do not require Python

Aewsome content many RU-vid channels dont even address the code interpreter replacing data analyst. But ur take on the data analyst 2.0 is really good. Also, it woukd be very helpful if you make a video on the possibilities and how actually there can be an increase in the data jobs in the coming AI world. Like a real world example of a company or anything.

In youtube search "codebasics data analyst vs data scientist vs data engineer" I have made a video on this topic. Business analyst's role is similar to data analyst but they do not use technical tools as much, instead they are focused more on the business side.

I am a web developer, but I like This data analytics and data scientist thing , will my 1 year of experience in coding give me a upper hand for interview selection???
It will help you to an extent because if they are looking for say Python data analyst then being a web programmer you know the fundamentals of the programming. SQL is another important skill for data analyst and I assume you will have upper hand there too. Note that many data analyst jobs do not require to have a Python knowledge so if a specific job requires Power BI, Tableau etc then obvious you have to prove your skills in those areas.

The expected package in India right now is 6 lakh per annum to 20 lakh per annum for freshers. Now you will be considered a fresher but based on your experience you may get a little extra package. This all depends on the need of an employer and how well you perform during the interview.

See any company on any given day likes to hire experienced person (for obvious reasons) but that doesn't mean freshers are not getting jobs. If you can show your work properly through online credibility, portfolio website etc. then you will get an interview call.

You can build BI dashboards for your student's performance and other student analytics. Also build some analytics projects in mechanical engineering domain and add a section in your resume called "Project Experience". Here you can mention all those projects. I have a 70+ people company (AtliQ Technologies) and we work on client projects. I also have a strong 12+ years of experience in the DATA industry. In any case, you have two options, (1) Verify that research by going to job portals, searching for job titles, and verifying it yourself, check all LinkedIn profiles, and interviews of REAL people (in video description), and if necessary talk to them as well (they are all nice people and most likely will respond to your message) (2) Do nothing with an assumption that an XYZ person is trying to sell their course. Whatever you decide to do, I think you will agree with one point at least which is "Your opinion and views (positive or negative) will impact you more than anybody else"

You have few options in terms of career choices that do not require much coding (1) Data Analyst (2) UX designer (3) Salesforce admin and there are few more. If you like playing with numbers than data analyst is a good career choice. Check video description, we have suitability assessment test that you can take as well. If you are creative, like graphics etc then UX designer is better. If you want to go to generic IT role with salesforce configuration etc then salesforce admin is good.

I'd say go for data scientist role only if you have interest in coding, math and statistics. You need be strong in those areas in order to become data scientist. Else choose a role that requires less or no coding such as data analyst

I understand. Out of 10 jobs may be 7 are recruiting experienced candidates but there are fresher jobs available. I have come across many recent examples where freshers have got jobs. As I said in the video, as of nov 2023, the market is a bit weak but this will not stay like this for ever. the best thing one can do is prepare with discipline and when market comes back up you will be the one to get hired immediately.
