Dude thanks so much for watching!! 🙌🔥 Yes, which is why it's so strange when people say it's replacing Dehancer, because that's not the case at all lol
I would say if you are a professional colorist, definitely go for Dehancer. Despite the price its worth the investment which you will make back in no time. If coloring is not your main source of income/work or if its more of a hobby then i would just use the film look creator+ color slice you will get amazing results and save money (if you have the studio version already).
Yes, I totally agree with you too! I’d definitely say Dehancer is worth the investment, realistically if you’re a professional colorist you can achieve these looks without it but it really is a cheat code for saving time with high quality results! 🙌🏽🔥
@artripoli I have not had the chance to use filmbox, but I have heard great things about it! Tbh nothing will ever beat knowing how to do it well from scratch, but it’s really cool having tools that can help speed up the process while keep the quality up!! Thanks for sharing! 🔥
Chris, your channel deserved way more views and followers, you´re creating powerful videos which allow having more valuable content on YT, keep the hard work, we really appreciate your big effort on this!!
Hey Erick!! That means a lot to me man, I appreciate you tuning in and showing love! I learned a lot of what I know through youtube, so I feel it’s only fitting to pay it forward and share some of my personal experiences and knowledge to help others looking to learn!! 🙌🏽🔥
Just the video I was looking for, if I have to pick one or the other, Film Look, just by this example, It looks sharper, I like how the skin looksand the trees, look better and I save the cost of the plugin, which is very expensive. Thanks Blackmagic and thank you, for your video!!
Hi! Thanks so much for watching!! 🙏🏽 I think “Film Look” definitely has some great things going for it, I’d say my only gripe with it is that it has a certain look to it baked in that Davinci doesn’t allow you to dial back or turn off giving you 100% full control, hopefully on a future update tho, since it’s only in beta, but with that said, the tool is amazing and will definitely help with creating amazing looks on a budget! I’m happy the video helped! 🔥
Hey there! I think the Lite version is a good option too, however it doesn’t include some of the extra tools like the Kodak 2383 or Fujifilm 3515 Print Films, or the Halation plugin, which I used in this video, but other than that everything else is the same and you can find those Print Films already inside Davinci!
yessss, I like that blackmagic is listening to the users and what we’re wanting! However, the tool still has long ways to go, and dehancer isn’t going anywhere any time soon! Thanks for watching!!! 🔥
