They've divorced because they had everything (not struggling for material things like many ordinary people). They were bewitched by Holywood glamour like everyone else when they were young but because they missed a drop of wisdom could have - when the make-up came at the life's screen exosted their feelings too became tired & bored (more probably were his feelings being superficially motivated not by her real charm). I wished I could be wrong....
