just wanted to make a video for the people who might be undecided on getting the final shape, a quick and easy answer from my opinion is that its worth the 50$ and if u like destiny you will love this expansion! thank you for WATCHING!!!
The 12 player mission, with matchmaking, killing the Witness was legit one of the best experiences in Destiny. Then we got a good area to play in with plenty to do, challenging higher difficulty missions, the duo schtick and some seemingly solid seasons ahead.
Why would you say is it worth buying and then give away Major spoilers after you spent a quarter of the video trying to be vague collapsed how good this video was you are on a good start
I believe I gave spoil warning mid way through just because I really wanted to talk about the great parts in the story, I apologize for my videos odd balance of spoilers and spoil free sections, I’m still new to making videos but I appreciate the feed back! Hope I didn’t ruin anything for u!
Idk, here is the problem when they did go seasonal and made lots of content unreplayable: You are missing a metric ton of triumphs and titles you can never earn again, because they had to go fomo to keep players in their game. Now this created the problem, that players that DID break free from the dumpster fire at some point, feel shitty to return, because so much is "lost". I have that sentiment and it constantly comes up, when discussing with friends who played in the past or are playing right now. Even the players that still play, say it's shit and understandable you don't want to return to a "paused" and "bricked" account. At the end of the day, it's a game about completing collections and triumphs, do challenges etc. , which made the game exceptionally great in the D1 and pre season model D2 days: I could come back whenever and don't miss a thing.
I agree mostly but games today are much different than they were when d1 was at its peak, yes they removed some titles and items acquired but most of which was to balance the game for “storage optimization” which I don’t fully believe to this day but it was there excuses. Fomo is In the game but I don’t think that’s a bad thing, example would be if you have the shadow title and are runing it, it shows you were playing a while ago and have experience doing high lv activities, I agree with the fomo if it can be used to show other players the skill lv or experience you have had but it’s obviously bad when they did sunsetting so people had to farm all new gear if they haven’t played. At the end of the day though this is just a looter shooter that 10years later is in its best state they have ever got it in and if you still don’t like the game, there are many others like warframe or borderlands that can be enjoyed, I hope non of this came across as arogent or hateful in any way, just thought I’d express what I disagree and agree with your opinion
@@BarrieBen I didn't mean it negatively in any sense. I believe anyone, who says it's a great time to play D2 now, but for me the peak of Destiny gaming was 100%ing it, raiding and trials with the homies and soloing dungeons. While the latter things sure are still in the game, I know I am the type of player who can't look at a triumph page and collection tab that is empty and unobtainable and I still think this could have been solved differently, even with sunsetting. It was a pure business move out of greed to instill fomo and keep players in the game.
We all knew it HAD to be good. What upsets me and i think so many others is that THE ONLY REASON why this campaign is soo good, it's cause Bungie is being held at gunpoint by Sony.
They better hold them at that. That seems to be the only way they can at least use a fragment of those millions of dollars from the cosmetic shop on usefulness.
@@Codreanu_Prezent Sony only cares about numbers, as long that those numbers are within a certain range, no one will give a f*ck. Bungie will be their usual selves and they're probably gonna create another Lightfall, maybe two. That until they piss off a significant enough chunk of the community or Sony themselves, release another Forsaken, WQ or the Final Shape and start the cycle again.
With the artificial difficulty changes I.e the power level numbers game it’s actually a really bad time for new players. I wouldn’t recommend the game beyond playing through the campaign
Okay then. Is there a new investment they've made into their core modes? Did they make new maps for the core modes? Any new modes? If not, I ain't so hyped.
they did re work how you get the pinacle reward from all playlist activities, now its done buy challenges rather than bounties, also there are a bunch of activities add with the expansion and right before like onslaught which is a wave based mode, game still has a seasonal event activity that seems pretty unique so far, if u havent played in a while, zero hour and whisper missions are back!
They just made it so you’re always underleveled in some way. At least -5. Not new content, same old stuff. They changed exodus black but it may actually be easier now. It’s the same old game just artificially made harder through surges and forced lower level handicaps
Honestly, I think this is the best time ever to start playing Destiny, aside from back in D1 or D2 launch. The old saga is finished and beautifully wrapped up, and everything from here on out is new and exciting. Honestly, Destiny has had a ENORMOUS problem with the - literally - worst new player experience of any game in over a decade and I've heard countless stories of players inviting their friends, only for them to drop out because WHAT IS THIS NEW PLAYER EXPERIENCE BUNGIE!? But now it's all new and I think that joining now to finish the fight and then continuing with the new episodic content and future expansions is a great place to start.
