It’s not op, it’s just the hit boxes messing it up, fixing those and maybe reducing the stun duration just by half a second would probably help balance Diablo out, making its knock down move similar to carno charge would help, when it hits a carnivore with the charge attack it removes a 6th of the Stam bar, this will make it more defensive rather than make it rely more on its attack.
@@Crawling3nmyskin Ye, so it's no wonder people currently see Diablo as too op. Though some Diablo players man...some do nothing but alt attack, giving hundreds of windows for things like Omni to take a nibble.
I really have no issue with dibble because I'm a teno main, but i understand the frustration. There's absolutely no reason for it to be double the size it should be. No carnivore in the game stands a chance in a fair 1v1, and carnis already struggle against stego players, which dibble can also obliterate somehow. It just makes no sense to preemptively increase its weight to adjust for allo, even though we could've at least seen how it went when it gets added, which will most likely still be a while from now. The balance team at Afterthought is a mess. Balancing in advance for how the game MIGHT be in a year or two is braindead. Balance the game THAT WE HAVE, so people who are actually playing it don't suffer.
@@goldfishmentality See that's the thing I never understood with how they add playables. Seems like almost every time they do there is never an equal opposite. And with all the teasing of Allo I was really expecting Allo to be added with Diablo or at least by now 👽 Knowing the Devs Rex will come out without Trike
I feel that the dibbles hitbox is too big and a bit broken, the stun maybe a hair too long but other then that its okay. Damage isn't op and I think the tankyness is okay for such a dino. Maybe less bleed resist and the turn to be less quick. Honestly I think steg is just fine, it feels op for the reason you said, it really has no strong predator.
My opinion is the Dibble feels about right considering what's coming down the line, mostly large Dinos. Also Deinos should be at a disadvantage out of the water, they can take a lot of hits even from Dibble, but up against a group it makes sense they cant do it forever
@@ucjgaming what even goes on in these devs minds making Carno a small game hunter? It already is one like most of the things it hunts is already pretty small it's already gonna be pretty weak compared to allo and especially rex so why make it weaker like only thing I can come up for them making Carno a small game hunter is that the devs are trying to Carno more similar to themselves
Everyone mentions the charge hitbox issue, but why is a 3 ton creature able to accelerate to their top speed as fast as a carno? The 180 slide is way too agile for a 3 ton creature. Why does it even need a 180 turn when it can spar and face its enemy?
@@Alvin_The_Tank_Engine I mean all the carnivores in Evrima now shouldn't be fighting a Stego. Stego is powerful for a reason, they should have just added it later not sooner
Dibble just needs that massive hit box range on its charge fixed it's not op neither is stego... Loved the video btw 👍🏻👍🏻. And your little dinosaur friend at the beginning he's a chill dude.
At the end where your talking abt the 1v1s i feel that Deino vs Deinocheirus could really rely if your on land or water because of how they play I feel that Spino vs Deinocheirus would be a better example because there really just the trike and rex of the water in the isle.
@@ucjgamingeven with the hitboxes, they’re definitely not as difficult as a stego. Yesterday as a Cerato myself and a random I grouped with took down a full grown Dibble. We just did really good at getting our licks in, baiting out his attacks and biting his ass. We were both at red health, easily a hit away from dying. It’s doable. I think the wrong predator point is a good one to look at.
@@noobtube5153 Well GG on the fight! Yeah it's not impossible of course to take down a Diablo. But I just don't get why the devs don't just release a Dino with the right opponent to balance it straight away
@@ucjgaming yea absolutely, I imagine it’s cause they’re trying to keep us rolling with the new content, and I mean it worked cause all the servers are packed. But definitely would’ve been better to do it in pairs.
Reduce 200-400 KG from it, fix very broken hitbox, its even a bit too fast.... Diablo vs stego is easy win for diablo right now because of that hit box and stun... that sliding turn way too fast.... 3 tons turning in 0.1 sec wtf :D Right now if you up that diablo to trike, rex has no chance :D
@@quasarix I think Rex is going to eliminate servers 👽 Only Trike will be there to stop it 🔴 And Diablo just needs Allo there to keep it in check I think
@@ucjgaming if they fix Diablo broken attack box then alo with 500 less hp than Diablo, will need good 8-10 bites on diablo, so still hard but can be done
@@ucjgaming Yea even just the other day on au1, we had a adult carno using the see through walls and speed hacks. There were others to but that was the big one on that server.
@@ucjgaming Yeah that's the only real main thing I do miss global chat for. It's sad that people need to use hacks to play the game in the first place, especially on the stronger Dinos like why not use hacks on a Hypsi? 😂
It is to op. In a 1 vs 1 it can win agains every Carni and they are the most time not allone. The bleeding recicstance makes it even harder to kill, and headshots do less damage. They realy have to nerf this dino (also the Stego). The argument, that it has not his predator yet makes it not less op. Because that means, it is absolutly op at the moment, till something bigger is coming. But till this happens, its to op!
@@freiwildandi3755 It is absolutely op at the moment. But it also needs it's own predator like Stego. No point in needing something when it is technically correct, but the incorrect part is the Devs releasing shit without an opposite. The Devs need to be nerfed, not my Diablo 🥹
@@AKayani559 Even if the allo cames out it remains to strong. Just 1 predator makes it not less op. And even if the allo came out, it would be a fair matchup, where both sides can win. The diffrence is, allos are in smaler packs. And it change nothing at the situation right now. RIGHT NOW it is clearly to op!
@@ucjgaming yes, but i would change the dibble as a developer, till the predator for him cames out. Take him the stun or give him less bleeding recistance or let him turn around much slower. Right now, there is nothing you can do agains a pack of them. They can give it him back, when a predator for him is released
@@freiwildandi3755 well the isle will continue to add more larger predators for the time being allo would definitely keep the population on cheak only thing Diablo needs fixing on is it’s huge attack radius other than that it’s fine
Ofc dibble is op. Dude u can facetank a deino and u will win. 3tons vs 8tons lol. A decent dibble can also kill a steg 3tons vs 6 tons.... and then dondi says carnos weight gets nerfed while it was around 2 tons irl while dibble was 1,4 tons yea sure makes total sense.... Lets not forget how many weeks devs had time to fix dibble hitbox and its still broken af :D
Diablo was artificially inflated from its original size like a .png in photoshop, almost two times which is the reason why it has a broken hitbox, it drifts way better and is very agile. It was supposed to be maximum 1 ton with max speed of 40-42 kmph with ability to jump. It got ruined by the cringe "BIG Dino goes RAWR" mindset. Judging by Carno's weight nerf to 1.3 ton i wouldn't be surprised if Allo is released at 1.8 tons.
Everyone saying Diablo is fine as it is are either delusional or they just like to play in easy mode. First of all Diablos real weight used to be between 1-2 T, turning rate is way too fast for a 3T dino and hitbox/tail knockdowns are a complete disaster. I'm not even a half decent with Diablo and I managed to 1v1 full grown stego... let that sink in. But Diablo fan boys won't admit it ofc they won't they find it enjoyable and extremely rewarding playing with an extremely unbalanced dino. Enjoy easy mode till it lasts
Everyone keeps saying, “well it’s for allo” and I get that. The only issue I have with this argument is, well we don’t exactly have allo yet, nor do we even know when allo will be playable. So we cannot really use allo as the reason Diablo and stego weigh as much as they do. Either we are basing this game on accurate facts, or lore. It can’t be both. And honestly, the way carnivores are going right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if allow weighs less than Diablo.
Dont know why this carni mains are crying in the comments not every thing is meant to be 1vs1, Diablo is 3 freakin tons, more powerfull them every actual carni expect deino, not to mention Stego ** 6 tons**they are not easy meal, Diablo is made to deal with those mid, smalls tiers and avoid/run from big to apex, thats ok you dont have to kill everything with your mid dino, that say, the balance is when is a group hunt, myself aready die to ceras and carnis mixpackers, i kill more them i die ? yes but as a adult Diablo is how is supose to be, afterall Allo and rex is not in game yet, your speak will change when it does. If you insecure to hunt diablos dont go for it, you have the speed to avoid them.
It would be better for balance roster sake when they would have waited with stego and dibble till allo and bigger carnis are finished so there are some equal strong carni counter parts besides deino groups Def can kill 1 or if good or many even 2 dibbles or stego (Idk about the last part just yapping) but with megsherds being a thing and easer to sustain than megapacks just kinda throws the unstable balance of the envirma of the bridge Can't wait to see half or even more of the dibble player population chance to Rex or allo once it's out just cause it's equal /stronger carni version Anyway I rly enjoyed dibble during legacy so no hate on that but iam der carni bias anyway have a nice day
To me it just doesn't make sense because diablo never got close to 3 tons. Styraco would have been way more reasonable because it was more likely to get closer to those sizes which they have on their roster so it makes me wonder how will they do Styraco to where Dibbles isn't stepping all over its shoes, gets me a little worried. Plus even at 1.5 tons or even 2 it would still be able to knock down an allo like it can stun stego, but I can think this all I want but the isle's decisions never really make sense sometimes but I still love the game lol
@@ucjgaming well the way carnivores are going right now. Probably less. Also, I can’t remember for sure, but I don’t think Diablo was 3 tons in legacy. Not to mention, we don’t even have allo yet, so it’s essentially the same mistake that was made when the stego was added. This is suppose to be a “non apex” game, yet we have stego, and now Diablo… and on top of that, they’re taking Carno down to 1,300kgs… so I’m not sure what the thought process was behind that. But yes. At this point in time during this response. No, dibble and or stego do not need to weigh as much as they do if we’re basing Dino’s weights on balance. I reality, Diabloceratops only got to about 1.3-1.4 metric tons.
Imo dibble should have less bleed resistance than the it does now, Utah always felt like its natural enemy so it not only give it a more apropriate weakness, but make it more balanced, i mean even when we look at its hide its not as thick and hardy looking as something like teno, it looks more like pachy who just so happens to have poor bleed resist
@@theonethatgotaway3475 I mean Diablo is tougher and heavier than a Teno, I wouldn't say it looks like to has thinner skin either. I would say Allo is a good match for a Diablo tbh
@@ucjgaming allo is a good matchup, but as for natural enemy/predator not so much, and yeah diablo is bigger and heavier with a powerful head but I think its skin does look thinner than tenos
Hell yes it's too OP. There's a reason I routinely see herds of 8+ all the time. Fuckers are mean too. But that is what makes The Isle great. Balancing in games is boring. The Isle has cool dynamics.
@@СергійЯремчук-м4р I wouldn't say it's easily. But of course it depends who you play against. A good Diablo Vs 2 good Carnos, the Diablo can still hold it's own
@@CptDawner Yes that's what I'm saying 😎 Once Allo is out Diablo will have its correct opponent. No idea why people expect Omni to win against everything lol
