A number of years ago I was gluten free, and the 50s style “restaurant” in Hollywood studios brought out the chef and asked what I wanted made gluten free and he made me the best fried chicken I had ever had at the time (I was 13 or something and hadn’t had fried chicken in so long going gluten free, doctors orders) and this was before gluten free was a big thing, so I will always remember that very nice guy. Made me a gluten free brownie sundae. Dude went CRAZY on making my meal amazing and made my night.
My son was born with 11 food allergies ( thankfully he grown out of most). Disney was our home away from home because of all the wonderful chefs. One after another went above and beyond. The Disney chefs are amazing people!
@@suzysuzannesuzy My 68 yr old friend has many food allergies too. She had never been on a vacation that was like Disney. I brought her and as I promised she had no problems eating while she was there. She was in heaven how the chefs treated her. Before covid she spoke about go ing back but staying for 2 weeks instead of 4 days. I explained I do not have that kind of cash!
Had some cousin's come down from KY about 7 or 8 years ago. Went to downtown disney and went to rainforest and t-rex cafe. My cousin cant have gluten and she was shocked that the chef came out to ask/tell her what she could get gluten free, and it was a lot. she was surprised how much they would make gluten free for her.
I ran into you yesterday at Disney Springs, I was so happy I saw/met you. I rambled something random but I did want to say your videos helped my friends and I do all the things we wanted to at the Wizarding world Friday and MagicKingdom yesterday! Also thank you for being sweet about my ramblings and asking for a pic. ♥️
My favorite fried Chicken is actually the Korean fried Chicken from yak and yeti. If you haven't tried it, you really should! It comes with a kimchi aioli.
I will be visiting WDW with my family in mid-November and I have reservations at Homecomin' for one of our days there. I made these reservations specifically because of everything I have heard about the fried chicken. Molly's review has my mouth watering and the next 50ish days can't go by fast enough.
Every time I see these prices, I’m glad there’s a community of locals outside of the bubble. That being said, the food options have become so much better over the past few years. I can’t wait to see what you all eat next!!
Agreed, all theme parks have some ridiculous prices, it’s just so funny that on vacation you spend 10x on food than what you would eating out at home for the same stuff, it’s crazy when a tiny 2 piece chicken meal for $10 is a bargain
PLEEEEASE do a full review of 50s Prime Time. I'd love to see a few all ears cast members go to dinner to be treated like "family". It could be sooo fun!
Homecomin'is one of our favorite Disney locations. We love the fried chicken meal so much, we haven't tried any of the other entrees, yet... That said, I'm dying to try that Olivia's meal!
A great video as always! Thanks Molly! Your food reviews are awesome! PS I love the pink ears you wore to Homecomin, are they available on Shop Disney by chance?
Homecomin' legitimately is the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life, it was the first thing I ate when visiting WDW for the first time in about 20 years and it blew me away. Fort Wilderness is such a cool resort that it makes me want to return and try the all the restaurants in the area, great video!
This video very clever and one of my favorites!! 10*10*10* how do you come up with these great ideas!!! My jaw was on the ground! Loved your expressions! Thank you so much for this, going to watch again!WOW!
Honestly, there are so many places to get fried chicken in WDW, you could have done this as a bracket. Then you could have gotten 3 or 4 videos out of it! What were you thinking?? More food comparison videos - I love this.
Art is sometimes there - I ran into him last time we ate there. Very Nice Guy! The Chicken there is phenomenal. Eating there is not to be missed if you are at WDW...
For a minute I thought you were eating a fried chicken dinner at 10:15 in the morning. I think the clock was just not working though. Not that there's anything wrong with eating fried chicken for breakfast necessarily
To my fellow gluten free folks, get the fried chicken at skipper canteen!! I hadn’t eaten fried chicken since my celiac diagnosis 8 years ago. I cried lol 😅
You said to give suggestions... I never see anyone do a review of Morimotos Asia or have I overlooked them. I know it can get expensive but I have seen people do more expensive places like Victoria & Alberts and Bull & Bear. Or is it just that many don't like Japanese food? Well, I'll hold out hope for a Morimotos visit.
Hey there I have a question about the hotel restaurants. Are they letting you park their if your have reservations to eat. Also are you able to park at Fort Wilderness and go to quick service meals? Have that started the chip and dale sing along again? Thanks for your videos.
For me 1 Homecomin’ but I do Chicken and Donuts. , 2 Olivia’s Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken, 3 50’s Primetime Cafe. Haven’t made it over to Trails End.
I stupidly didn't think the reservations for the restaurants at Disney Springs would be gone 60 days out so I waited to make one for Homecomin'. I did get one but it's right in the middle of one of my park days so I keep checking for a dinner reservation for the week I'll be at Disney.
I had a reservation for Homecomin' on the day I flew back home and it wasn't going to work out because I had it reserved for 2:30 and I had to be back at my resort by 3:25 so unfortunately I had to cancel it, but hopefully next time I'll get to try it! I didn't even get to get Gideon's cookie or customized M&M's! So sad, but I'll be back in a year and a half from now and hopefully accomplish these goals!
The best fried chicken I've had on property was at Pop. It was crispy flavorful, and juicy. We recently stopped by Wilderness Lodge just to get a campfire cupcake! There is something to be said for resort only foods.
Is any food at Disney worth the price? When you factor in the cost and time to leave the parks and go out to eat probably but just based off quality and quantity no. Unless you are going to one of the buffets and put down 3 or more plates.
Please stop telling how great CAS Homecoming is. It's getting really crowded. BTW The Kitchen plate is my jam.. Mac&cheese, green beans since the discontinued carrot souflee Gotta get the sweet potatoes. 😋 yummo
Chef Art’s is my absolute favorite in the ENTIRE WORLD, not just Disney World. You can’t go wrong with Homecomin!!! We had three people share a chicken plate… no problem.
It's crazy every single time we eat at Olivia's I'm disappointed and we get poor service but reviews like this make us say let's try it again, but again we are let down. Hmm. Willing to give it another try cause we stay at OKW and that chicken looked amazing. So in October let's try again, hopefully I'll get the service and quality everyone talks about. That looks amazing.
So glad you didnt eat the fried chicken at Crystal Palace. Its absolutely disgusting. As a matter of fact, I think it was so bad they were forced to take it off the menu
No comparison though in the fried chicken at Ft. Wilderness vs. the amount and quality you get at Prime Time. Your photos show that. Pretty sad drumstick at Ft. Wilderness.
What no That Chicken Guy from Guy Fieri? If you are going to do a chicken review, you need to add that to the list. Especially since you went to Disney Springs. But yes, I agree Homecomin” has GREAT fried chicken!!!🍗
