Why? Because he won’t bend to the level of corruption committed by Jared Kushner? I’m an American Jew who is certain the Abraham Accords was only a bandaid used to increase Trump’s global power…and build a facade of loyalty to Israel. The UAE, Morrocco, and Sudan have never been at war with Israel, so the deal (at best) strengthened the commerce between these countries - while the big fish Saudi Arabia didn't play along because the Kingdom has chosen to stick with its renewed ties with Iran and Syria. Israel is deeply concerned about that deal for good reason. But who isn’t? Donald Trump. During his presidency, Trump was engaged in anti-constitutional Trump organization business with foreign countries - many of who don't acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. So he was essentially using the White House (along with Ivanka and Kushner) to build his wealth - no matter how deep his conflict of interest would become with the US and Israel. As well, Kushner's Middle East “negotiation skills” benefitted his pockets with a two-billion-dollar gift from Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which was invested in Brazilian Burger King stock. But that's not the only benefit to the Trump/Kushner crooks. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia just announced the approval for Trump Towers to be built in their country. Am I pissed off about Biden’s wishy-washy political posturing to please the Pro-Palestinian thugs…and his putting pressure on Netanyahu to accept a half-assed deal with Hamas? Yes, I’m disgusted. But at least I know where he stands; and candidate Harris has sworn to never embargo or sanction Israel - because she will always support Israel’s right to defend themselves. OTOH…I wouldn't trust Trump to manage a hummus stand in Israel - let alone trust him to make sane decisions that guarantee Israel’s security and longevity.

I am a product of intermarriage but I am not considered Jewish according to Jewish law bc my mother was not Jewish and did not convert. But my Jewish father was an atheist and while we were exposed to some traditions, it didn’t matter to him. Don’t blame the non-Jew. I support Israel and the Jewish people but Judaism doesn’t acknowledge me.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Trump was in his sixties before he ever knew Tucker Carlson, and his habits of mind of a lifetime had been well formed by then. And you should know that if you get Harris, you'll get the most anti Israel president Israel has ever had to deal with. If you have any sense, you'll vote for Trump.

I definitely understand your perspective and I am equally iffy about his ties to Tucker Carlson. But Trump and Vance, despite their close ties to Carlson have still remained firm in their vocal support for Israel and against antisemitism which I find admirable. I figure if they were to try to pander to Tucker and his fanbase, they would have done so already, but they still remain unwavering in their support of Israel and of American Jews.

Tucker is not a politician and Trump schmoozes with everyone. Also, the Republican party generally is extremely supportive of Israel and have gone out of their way to work against antisemitism. Speaker Johnson and members of congress physically went to Columbia College to condemn the antisemitic protesters. Elise Stefanik has been outspoken about her support of Israel and condemning antisemitism. Also Nikki Haley. What have the democrats done? Bowed at the ankles to the Squad, Bernie Sanders and the like. Trump also has made decisions that clearly support Israel: moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Golan Heights as Israeli sovereignty, defunding UNRWA, Abraham Accords. Remember, words are cheap; actions are gold!

Trump’s association wwith Tucker Carlson isn’t a big deal in comparison to the millions (now turning into billions) of dollars Trump is making through his business ties with countries that support “From the river to the sea - Israel will be wiped off the map”: Iran, Saudi Arabia (in 2023 the Kingdom renewed its friendly ties with Iran and Syria), Venezuela, Brazil, Qatar, Kuwait, N. Korea, China (they just signed a “unity agreement” with Hamas and Fatah), and Malaysia. This is only the tip of the iceberg.
