My 2 cents is that this game does cater to dolphin level spending, there's pretty severe diminishing returns on spend after about $250. The gear grind, hero leveling process, etc. all benefit from a nominal amount of spending so that you can refill your stamina more often than a F2P person would. Spending at least 50 gems a day on 60 stamina is going to give you a distinct advantage over time in the limited time events which means better rewards, etc. I also think there's a compounding benefit of playing for a long time, accumulating heroes and skill scrolls, and getting actual Duplicate legendaries. We haven't gotten to the point where we see a lot of people with legendaries that are benefitting from legendary artifacts and/or their inspiration bonuses. Having a deep bench of characters isn't as big a deal as having a few very powerful characters because the resource drain to level everyone up is pretty severe. That gets magnified when you go through a few seasons of it. 100 wyrmarrow x 365 days is a lot of gems. That said, there's a HUGE amount of non-stamina rewards in the game so it's not like you have a HUGE leg up vs the competition. Seasonal resets and gating mechanics also diminish the advantages of spending a lot on the game in S1. Subsequent seasons you'll see the spenders pulling away, even with powercreep of new units, etc.

1) everyone got the pre registration rewards in the form of events. Including the legendary hero. 2) yes it is hard to get yellow dice. But what do you need legendary heroes for? What can you not do without them?

@@bisantien2462 3% for a legendary is actually a very big chance for a gacha game. In Genshin Impact there is a 0.1% chance to get a legendary and only right 20 pulls before pity (which is 90 and not 35) you get your chances increased. So you are totally wrong. You just want free stuff and legendaries only for loging in.

"What can you not do without legendary heroes?" , biggest lie and a joke I've heard since covid years. Do you know why these devs never change their approach and try to think about their less paying and free users? It's because of people like you exist, sponsoring their games with much dishonesty and spending money in those in thousands of $$ Like how do you explain the 500 yellow dices you got showing in your another video? They didn't fall from a tree in your backyard

its a hero collector game that does not allow you to collect unless you pay but even if you do pay it will still hurt since the RNG drop rates for the better characters are way too low compared to other gotcha games.

I have 2 characters i regularly use on my acct, and i'm basically f2p only spent the .99 cents for the pick your own epic chests and have summoned 3 leggos, but the heroes have been meh at best to work with synergy that i've summoned.

at the end the day it is a P2W, no matter how you put it, yes you can play this thing even without spending but the games tends to put any player in that spot but as you progress you'll find that you need to top-up in order to proceed further, youtubers will not say it is a p2w because most of players and subscribers are f2p and it will affect their youtube stats - common lets be realistic & honest here, am playing this game myself, rate for a legendary or a epic characters that are good during summoning are almost at the lowest and summoning dice (Starlight and Heliodite) are hard to come by, not to mention redeem codes are at no use! 24 hrs limitation and its gone!! 🙄😑😵‍💫 it is a nice game don't get me wrong! but....p2w? definitely

this is by far one of the few game that even whales would get hurt since the drop rates of the better characters are way too low that even if you spend that much you still wont hit the jockpot theres one korean dude that live stream the game and spend a boatload of cash to for the gotcha he was only able to get a few and they were not u that even good. good graphics but this is just sadge in terms for monetization we already have blizzard for that crap we dont need more in 2023

right now with not having played the beta and not knowing whats ahead, but playing from day 1: its the most f2p gacha game i´ve played so far. rares CARRY in this game. it feels awarding to THINK about your lineup.

the season end rewards are a joke.. there is nothing to really aim for.. no seasonal skins, no special combo skills, all you get are some summons and an avatar frame.. thats not worth a season of time investment.. especially when all gear resets

Can you get better shit and faster progress by spending? Yes. Nuff said. Can you play the game F2P? Yes. F2P clean dungeon lvl4 while P2W clear lvl7 => better gear for same amount if energy. P2W have a much bigger hero pool to chose from which allows them to pick those few nuggets from rare and epic to clear through content without halt. You don’t have a second cleanser… tough break. Fey Mender 20 will show you the way to the door. Don’t even start with Furbath, if you don’t have him… again… tough luck you’re stuck.

its a totaly pay to win missions or pvp or events dmg are normaly top only legends but here is drop legend near to zero only epic or rare for start ok but for competition no way and another games you have in more picks chance for legendary but here is absolutly normal pick Opercent for legendary this is first game where i see this and uninstall ....

Lets see, first of all the definition of p2w is not the same for everyone but to make it simple to understand. New server start, we have player 1 f2p he play until cap use all his resources to progress and unlock temporal vortex on day 3 gets a nice score based on his pull luck probably around 1m or 1.5m if lucky. Now we have player 2 he is not f2p and also play until 3 day and unlock vortex.... he wasn't lucky like his f2p brother so he pull off 500k damage on vortex, now i wonder can he do something with money to change his destiny? Well if you played the game and looked at the shop you already know the answer... but if you fail to understand i can explain it to you just let me know :D In short aniway if the game has a competitive mindset and you can use money to get a better score then by definition it is pay to win, you can argue about the amount of p2w saying things like its only a little because this and that but it is still p2w doesn't matter big or small. And to conclude the game can be both f2p friendly and p2w at the same time... those two things are not on the same playing field and anyone that truly believes that a f2p has a shot at number 1 on any gacha where money is an option is out of his mind

I agree with everything. Unfortunately there are to many spoiled kids thinking that this is p2w bacause they do not get 100 free legendary heroes at the start (already see their comments). Players complaining about everything, not smart enough to play the game with resources available to them.

Everyone saying it is a p2w game does not even know what p2w game is really look like. P2W is when you literally can not progress until you top up, or you have to grind for week or months to beat some boss. In Dragonheir you get a lot of free pulls and stamina refills. Teams with only rares and epics are very strong too, and right now the only place where you want legendaries is high rank arena. People just want free stuff. Unlimited stamina, legendary hero every 3 days for logging in. 100% drop rate for the best equipment. They do not even want to play the game. They want the game to just throw at them gifts until they got bored and moved to another game, complaining it is a p2w because apparently free legendary hero for everyone (right now there is an event for that and everyone will get him on the next week) is not enough.

Rng is the biggest factor in gachas, not getting the right hero can be detrimental to an account. Now as to the point p2w is literally just paying for any advantage whether that is paying for more gacha pulls, paying for energy, or literally anything that can progress an account that someone who isn't paying doesn't get that advantage. It isn't a hard concept to understand people just want to stretch the truth instead of just accepting that what they are playing is p2w regardless of if it is trash or not.
