I don’t know if y’all actually will watch degrassi, but if not then the reason they didn’t like Rick was because he abused one of their other friends (Terri) and basically pushed her into a rock/brick and put her in a coma. When he came back to the school, they were upset that he wasn’t arrested so they basically bullied/messed with him since then. Now, they didn’t have to terrorize that boy, but he definitely wasn’t no saint.

Ugh, I will never get over how they did my girl Terri. Rick had a lot of audacity coming back there - not saying he should have been terrorized but you can absolutely keep your distance from someone who hurt a close friend like that.
