Honestly speaking, few months ago this was the worst game of the year but this new update is really good, we're heading to the right direction, there are still room for improvement.Defending,collision,referee consistency,graphism still need some work and i enjoy it more than fifa especially the ability to upgrade players attributes
The player movements on the ball especially on the dribble in front of goal paired with the shot look surprisingly realistic, mainly like his run with Romario at around 20:15

Watching this vid got me feeling the same way as when i first watch you play fifa a while back. Fifa gameplay is so dead now so it’s refreshing to have some new football content.
Absolutely. I knew Konami would pull this off. Incredible gameplay physics now and it will get even better. It’s not perfect, but so good now once you learn the moves
You can remove the direction circle under the players and the shoot guide lines in command settings/controller settings. Will help remove the distractions
The thing for me is, they totally ballsed up the release. The game wasn't finished and they never should have released it..BUT they've totally overhauled the game because they wanted it to be better. I've got a mate who worked for EA and he basically told me they don't care about improving FIFA cos they know millions of people will buy it regardless.
Tbf tho, FIFA has been that way in my eyes. Heck, even I played FIFA for a couple of years just cause. Then I realized, they never fixed some bugs that have been there for years. So I switched to PES. Ngl it's really worth my while.
Pes is so enjoyable for me, there’s something so satisfying about the game I can’t put my finger on it. I also love the idea of being able to train your players up, last year I probably had my favourite team on any game since fut 12. Italian league legends, young players. Del piero, Adriano, Zaniolo etc
The last Pes i played was the 2017 version. But i have that same nostalgic feeling about Pes since i shifted to Fifa (2018). Even tho Fifa had better overall gameplay and content, the game was souless. That excitement while building occasions, defending, dribbling and scoring is gone. And now the gameplay is becoming more and more toxic. I still miss Master League and those enjoyable multiplayer game without the algotrythm messing up the game, randomly giving advantages, making your defensive lines ramdomly open up or sending your shoot attempts to the crossbar 3 times in a row 😢 In Fifa 22 for example i actually spend more effort trying fix the mistakes made by the AI controlling my defensive formation than actually defending, the previous Fifas didn't fall that low into making the gameplay poisonous.

I grew up playing PES, then switched to Fifa in 08 because of graphics. By 2013, PES left fifa in the dust when it came to graphics and features, like PES has an entire Balon D'or ceremony but they were still lacking game play fluidity. As of PES16, they been stepping up their game, I reckon PES '23 will rock the football gaming world
I liked master league so much. In Pes 2017 i played from 2016/2017 season to 2030/2031 if i remember well. The ballon d'or ceremonies, the players having ranks in the team (General, Superstar, Legend...etc). The final game of the season which is against the retired players who just played their last season, with an emotional video showing the greatest retired player of that season, let's say for example at the end of season 2024/2025 after the the champions league awards just before the end of the season their is a match against the retired players, and a video show up with Ronaldo walking towards the pitch alone (with a message saying "Cristiano Ronaldo is playing his final game"😭) That video give me goosebumps almost every time, same goes for when it was Totti, Buffon, Casillas, Ibrahimovic, Messi and Neymar who was the best player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo Retirement, in that parallel universe 😭😂) Also every end of season you can add your best player of the season (only one player) to your personal Hall of Fame, where all his personal stats, records, and trophies are recorded, some kind of Temple of Legends you visit to remember the old days when most the players with whom you started with retired and were replaced by new younger generations. I remember by en of season 2030/2031 i went to the Hall to see again the faces of the great players with whom i built the team, the Boyz who made the team known to the world 😂, it was a very special and nostalgic place to be in. Every single achievement of each season was recorded for every single player belonging to that Hall : From number of Goals, assist, and games per season, team trophies like Caraboa Cup, Fa Cup, Premier League, World Cup, World Cup of Clubs, Champions League... And then the personal trophies like Ballon d'or, Top scorer of premier league, Top assist of C1, Golden Boot (Top scorer in Europe), or even Goalkeeper of the season. We have it all Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders, Forwards, Wingers. These among other things is why Fifa career mode feel so poor and souless to me.

I love how you can update your own players, they feel like your team, but they have to fix passing, and button response, way to many times I go for first time shot or pass and they do fuck all.
please have ur own opinions when it comes to efootball, dont let the crowd talk you out of the most realistic version of futbol on the market. They have ALOT ALOT of work to do but they’ve improved from the dumpster fire that efootball started as.

Although efootball has a lot of work to do the most recent update was an improvement and they've said they're going to update the game every 2months which is promising. I'm enjoying the game, I refuse to go back to fifa, how people still play that game is beyond me

It’s a massive step back that they intentionally did in order to cater to and maximize profits from the mobile market. Nobody should even be comparing this game to FIFA anymore, FIFA mobile is the better comparison.
@@DonPasquale_ what? what does this game have to do with catering and maximizing profits from their mobile game? Those are two different audiences and markets. Starting from scratch and lack of funding is what made it a step back. It's compared to FIFA because it is the only other football game on console that has any type of popularity or licensing.

I spent like £26 on my first day and honestly couldn’t have gone wrong so much better value than fifa packs came out with two legends 87 aubameyang and 93 lewandowski still trying the basics but definitely a great game now in the start it got uninstalled just from the pre game

Manny this is great, if you wanna be good at the game you. Need to remove the FIFA chip, play slower, think ahead just like in real life, and btw the RUN button is everything in dribbling, tap ot slightly or all the way down depending on space
Manny look up how to do stunning shot, you wont be disappointed, also i love this game but every now and then the controls seem to cut off and you cant do nothing, certain players just ignore the ball but the foundation of this game is unreal, sure it will only get better tho 👍
