Not only did Disney announced the release date for the long-awaited remake, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, but they also revealed a special Collector’s Edition that comes with a lot of bonuses along with the game. However, with a price that is more intimidating than the Shadow Blot, is it worth paying extra to have a more epic version of Epic Mickey?

Collectors edition price is not bad. It gives you the game so the extras are really only $140. $100 for the statue and $40 for the keychain, steelbook, and extras seems fair.

I got my hands on the collector edition, this marks this my first ever collector edition for a game and I'm glad it was for Epic Mickey. That statue is awesome. Do hope a companion Oswald statue is made separately to pair them. It be nice but I can see it being saved for EM2 if remade. Did managed to get it through a 4 month payment plan with my final payment being on the day of the game's release.

Even though I am someone who really likes the original Epic Mickey, heck my introduction to AniMat’s channel was because of the Epic Mickey Files, I don’t think I’m gonna be getting the collectors edition and just get the standard edition, also so far the new additions are really cool including the return of the costumes from the second game, say what you will about the second game, personally I thought it was fine, but it was one of the better parts of that game, so this really does feel like a great remake of the original game and just seeing how Epic Mickey gained a cult following over the years is great, on top of that considering this is coming from THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp Studios, the same people who did the Battle for Bikini Bottom remake and also Cosmic Shake, I definitely have full faith in them since they have experience making a remake of a cult favorite game that’s based on an already existing property.

I’m going to pass on the big limited edition one I’ll just get the regular game plus I have the original vinyl figure from the original epic Mickey game
