Season 11 is basically 15 years into the zombie apocalypse. If it were only about zombies from start to finish, it would get boring

It is about zombies and there are zombies in every episode also got variant walkers now so I’d say it still about zombies and if it was just purely zombies there wouldn’t be much to watch

@@shawnthehusky1802 Of course there are still zombies in the show, but the latest seasons aren't focusing on the zombies as much as they used to do because if that were the case, 11 seasons of that would be boring and repetitive

As you can see, he really wasn't at fault, it was more self-defense than anything, but Mommy Dearest here is out for blood. He later reanimated by the way and Mommy Dearest went all the Governor and Penny with the situation before Daryl finally put the guy down. This community is called the Commonwealth by the way. It's basically a surviving modern society in the Apocalypse with over 50,000 survivors. Unfortunately, that also comes with the corruption of government that a modern society entails as well as the classism. I think that the court case is supposed to be loosely adapted from the final comic where Carl faced trial in the Commonwealth 25 years after Rick Grimes' death. His judge was Michonne though who had a lot more sense than the court here. The Commonwealth is a large community, but it's not the largest by far in the Walking Dead TV Universe. Omaha and its Campus Colony combined had over a hundred thousand people before they were both destroyed. Portland, Oregon has around 87,000 people. And the Civic Republic has over 200,000. Those are the people that took Rick Grimes by the way: the Civic Republic Military or the CRM. Fans think that there's probably a connection between the CRM and the Commonwealth.

We thought that she went to the Commonwealth, but maybe she didn't. As for Virgil, he hasn't been seen since the storm in Alexandria. He was pretty badly hurt: he might not have survived his wounds in the end. He was originally supposed to die sacrificing himself so that Connie could escape or something like that apparently.
