Love Leavenworth and you certainly picked a great day!! Crowds are minimal! I love that they have kept the traffic off the main drag since Covid. Was afraid they would go back to heavy traffic AND heavy crowds. My nephew lives in Plain, so when we get there we stay with him, so easy and nice. Miss home SO much. Thanks for taking me back again.
I stopped there once with a German girlfriend. I thought she would hate it, but no, she really enjoyed it and said that the food was pretty authentic. But she corrected me a couple of times - "this is not German, this is Bavarian!" I guess Bavaria has a higher proportion of Catholics and is generally more conservative than a lot of the rest of Germany.
Thanks I haven't been there but my parents went once or something so people probably think I went to Leavenworth for some pampered social media sugar baby thing. I like the scenery it reminds me of some other walking tour places maybe Santa Barbara and big bear lake?
This looks like Europe. It's been 24 years, this month, since I stopped drinking coffee. I do like those autumn colours. My favorite flavor of gelato is pistachio. This looks pretty awesome. Cheers! 👍👍✌️
