Whenever I feel low, I watch this movie. GOW was the turning point of Indian cinema...that was the point when content driven films started making money and became popular. It was like Zanjeer moment for Bollywood, because after Zanjeer people started making Angry young man kind of movies.

This *MASTERPIECE* should have won *OSCAR* !

It is a trendsetter for many gangster based movies that followed after it.. so it will always remain in our hearts❤️

Gangs of Wasseypur is not just a movie it's a collection of Bollywood gems like. Manoj Bajpai Nawazuddin Siddiqui Pankaj Tripathi Richa Chadda Huma Qureshi Rajkummar Rao Piyush Mishra Jaideep Ahlawat ... and many more. These gems are shining today because of their talent but I still fill that they didn't get the respect and attention that they deserved.

I'm just so happy to know that I'm not the only one who noticed how funny Sultan's assassination planning and attempt scene is.

The thing that I like the most is the way the character speaks, the tone they use is very much similar to the place the story is set i.e, bihar and jharkhand and the character using those rough languages mix up some extra heat which was required and at last coming of faisal khan who usually being high because of ganja makes the film more local

Once a masterpiece remains as masterpiece.

This film felt like bollywood's attempt to make a crime epic like the godfather 1 and 2, Goodfellas, City of God and once upon a time in America. And they pulled it off. This film is still amazing 10 years later

I am from Nepal and grew up watching 90s Bollywood. I was skeptical of this movie and finally watched in 2022. Have been unable to get it out of my brain since, it's extraordinarily amazing. Plus the songs are such a treat.

The editer writes " I can't subtitle all this " when the song is played😂😂😂

After watching this i understood what is acting. now iam capable of saying that the whole cast of the film is better than the entire bollywood.

Regarding this marquee series, I love the way it intends to be real and brutal, cutting away from many we saw and continue to see This is a directorial and acting masterpiece. Thanks to the marquee anurag kashyap The fact that he tried to do it, I mean a gangster based movie is appreciable. For it requires courage, as it is not the normal and is abstract The best thing about this marquee series is that it is a timeless classic. I mean it never looses significance, and never will I saw part 2 a few days back, just because I forgot it At last, thank you, Zeeshan Qadri for the marquee story
